I think they win those games because other than Bama and Auburn no one is playing the run in defense. I do agree that LSU looks way more competent on offense now than at any time under Miles.

They remind me of Bama fans were after Stallings only they have won a lot more than we did. They just care way too much about football but we all do. It's why we hang out here so much.

Alabama is considerably better across the board then LSU this year. That was a pretty lopsided 10 point win stat wise.

How many LSU games have you watched in the last decade

With coach O we win against Wisconsin and Auburn.

Your logic is off and I take you post with a grain of salt.

Miles did a great job getting players to campus but just did not coach the offense well at all. LSU was a one dimensional team under Miles and right now Coach O is playing the season out and cannot revamp the whole offensive scheme

Coach O can't revamp it but at least he's been able to pump enough life into it to blowout the shite teams. That's something that wasn't even happening under Miles.

This current Orgeron-led LSU team would've beaten Wisc & AU and would've beaten MSU by more.

Auburn also just got beat by Georgia. They are not a good football team. They lucked up and played LSU under Les Miles. If that game was this weekend, LSU by 14 easily.

Okay, then I'm gonna claim Bama skullfricked LSixU 42-0 a couple of weeks ago...if Les was still your coach.

I don't think LSU has won or lost a game that they wouldn't have won or lost with miles as head coach.

I disagree, they would have come out flat and lost to Arkansas as usual.

Wisconsin is a good team. Im sorry, but coach O is not the difference in beating Wisconsin. Not saying it couldn't happen, but I think everyone has lost their damn fool minds

LSU had Wisconsin beat and Brandon Harris gave it away. Fournette had a 15 yard run that put us in FG range to win but he tweaked his ankle at the end of the run. We should've handed the ball to guice two times and then kicked the fg. Instead fournette came out and we got a false start taking us out of FG range by 3 yards. We all know what happened on the next play. Harris threw the ball directly to a wisconsin receiver with no pressure on him.... he literally could've scrambled for 10 yards. Yes wisconsin is good. Under Orgeron we beat them and it's probably not by 1 point like it should've been.

Maybe, but I can guarantee you the Missouri, Ole Miss and Arkansas games would have been much closer, if not nailbiters.

Southern Miss too.

That's bizarre.

They literally beat Auburn, points taken off board for Miles' clock issues.

Not having him touch the offense surely worth 3 points at Lambeau.

LSU would be 8-1, ranked 6th in the country and you'd be sweating a turd about having to play us in the playoffs.

Well, that LA water fed all those 5 star athletes that attend LSU and Bama...LA 3 stars are better than most other 5 stars from other parts of the country. I'll have what they are drinking!

Auburn also just got beat by Georgia. They are not a good football team.
When Auburn was a healthy team, they were ranked in the top 30 in total offense and defense. Two weeks ago they were also 3rd nationally in scoring defense and beat a top 20 opponent by 53 points. The QB was injured in the OM game and didn't start against Vandy. During that game, our best offensive player and leading rusher in the conference was injured on his way into the endzone.

Considering that the Georgia game was played without the offense's most productive player and a clearly hampered QB, their injuries likely had a significant impact on the result of the game. But no, we should ignore these factors and say "AU is not a good football team" while in the same breath argue that LSU is a "different team" due to a new coach. Does it not occur to you that this thought process is a bit hypocritical?

Maybe LSU fans are the only ones who can contextualize these kinds of things and everyone else is just making excuses. I legitimately do not understand how you people can be so certain of your perspective without considering the alternative, or any other mitigating circumstances that affect the outcome of a game. It's like you're deliberate in your lack of objectivity.

Funny thing is when Orgeron first took over other sec fans were saying LSU would be lucky to go .500 the rest of the way. Now that LSU looks like they will only lose 1 under Orgeron people now say they didn't beat anybody. I don't think Orgeron has done anything that special. Miles was just holding the team down with his stubborn approach to games. It's pretty funny LSU has a good shot at the Sugar Bowl.
