Texas should be very grateful they got to play and beat Bama. If Bama was 13-0 and Georgia was 12-1 in the SEC championship game and Georgia beats Bama, guess what? Yep, they’d take a 13-1 Bama over a 13-1 BIG12 champ, Texas, along with SEC champ GA. NOBODY can dispute that. Lil Nicky would be pimping all over ESPN making sure that everybody knows that Bama would be better than Texas.

If they both make it to the final and Texas wins, I think they give a trophy to the winner. Or something like that.

I know Texas has never been in the playoff, but what would happen in that scenario would be that Texas would be National Champs.
