Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer from Arkansas come to mind (if you are including Jerry Jones from that era).

John Croyle founded The Big Oak Ranch. Not sure how everyone else measures success but I would call his mission "successful!"

Vanderbilt has Lamar Alexander, a former member of their track team that did really well in politics

Oprah Winfrey Graduated from Tennessee State. I didn’t know that.

Kevin Nash of pro wrestling fame was on Tennessees basketball team

Ovince St. Preux Had a decent UFC career after football

Dave Ramsey did OK for himself after his ice hockey days at UT

Allen West was able to parlay a brief intramural flag football career at UT into a military and political career

Jim Haslam played Football at UT and has done more than Jerry Jones.

Who? And what has he done? Never heard of him.

Never mind, I googled it, he owns some truck stops…

James Arthur Haslam II (born December 13, 1930) is an American businessman and philanthropist, best known as the founder of Pilot Corporation, which operates a chain of convenience stores and travel centers throughout the United States and Canada,

Jerry Richardson (Owner of Hardees & former owner of Carolina Panthers).

The Jerry Richardson I met, years ago, played ball at Wofford. I know two of his close personal friends, one living in Memphis in the car business and one in Atlanta ... which is how I met him. His son has some connection to Clemson which escapes me at the moment.

Jerry Richardson is not SEC alumni to the best of my knowledge. Matter of fact he had a falling-out with us when Mike McGee refused to allow the expansion Panthers to play in Williams-Brice while Panther Stadium (Nokia) was being built.

ETA: Kai Kroger, the best punter in the nation much less the SEC, has done quite well as the Kaibota tractor and lawn equipment spokesman.

Billy Cannon made millions as a dentist I think it was ... gambled some away.
