The Ford 5.0L is a great engine - my 2019 has had zero issues and delivers 20 - 22 mpg w/plenty of naturally aspirated HP and torque.

I dropped off 16 dress shirts recently - $80 plus tax = $5/shirt - ridiculous.
re: For those on the left, what is your winning message for the mid terms?
Posted by roadkill on 4/20/25 at 7:04 pm
Message??? LOL - Democrats plan to cheat w/illegals voting since their policies don't generate votes other than their low-IQ, hate-America, leftist filth base which doesn't represent an electoral majority - so they're not planning to do anything different than they have since at least 2016 (loss) - 2020 (loss, but stolen) - 2024 (loss). What was their message those three cycles? They ran incredibly weak candidates (HRC, Brandon, Cackles) believing the Dem voter machine would generate enough fake votes to prevail.
If - BIG IF - future elections require citizen-only voter ID, scrubbed voter rolls, paper ballots, and same day voting/counting, the Dems are done nationally.
Losing USAID (billions of $$ of taxpayer funded leftist propaganda) will turn out to be a HUGE problem for Dems and if the Rs can manage to not step on any political rakes, they should increase Congressional majorities, retain the WH, and restock the USSC w/Constitutional conservatives.
TL/DR - Dems haven't needed a message since 2008 barry soetoro - hope & change - his "fundamental transformation" amounted to nothing but building a fake voting machine with enough illegal votes to build a permanent majority.

re: What was the first Alabama game you attended?
Posted by roadkill on 4/8/25 at 8:45 pm
November 16, 1963 - Ga. Tech at Bama in Legion Field. Bama won 27 - 11.
That morning at breakfast my Dad asked nine-year-old me if I wanted to go to the Alabama football game. I had never really watched a football game and wasn't aware of what it was all about but said yes. Life changing afternoon. Dad bought a couple of student tickets for $10 at the stadium - and he wasn't happy to pay that much. Could see The Bear before and during the game from a distance. The crowd was into the game and I was hooked.
Over the years, we attended quite a few Bama games and I am forever grateful he introduced me to the experience - my sons and I have shared the thrill of victory and agony of defeat of Bama football.
The last game I attended with Dad was the Jan 2, 2009 game vs Utah in New Orleans - Bama lost 31 - 17. My sons - his grandsons - were there too. Dad had a heart attack after the game and died the next day - I guess that's as good of an exit as a man can expect - RTR Dad.

Back-to-back Elite Eight appearances with a first in program history Final Four last year - Bama didn't shoot well tonight against the #1 seed and lost - I'm not embarrassed - maybe this Bama insider role is more than you can handle - I've been a fan for 62 years and have NEVER been embarrassed by young men 18 - 22 years old representing Bama - you owe them an apology - Roll Tide.

With the game clock winding down and needing a bucket to win, Reginald King (Reggie - The Mule) is the Bama player I want to create and muscle in a shot close to the basket - Buck Johnson is a close second.
