Nah, no title game appearance needed for bama. I mean its not like its a conference championship game that has the best teams from each division playing each other or anything. Meaning, it's a game between 2 good teams usually in this conference...a game that Bama or anyone could lose and get knocked out of playoff contention. Screw it, Bama shouldn't have to do that like every other national champion in history, I'm pretty sure. They're bama, and should play for the title even if they go 6-6 during the regular season. What a joke.

Well Alabama was a dominant program in the 20's,30's parts of the 40's,60's,70's,parts of the 90's ,2008 forward.
