For Alabama- the SEC Championship game..
Allows Alabama in the playoffs for the 5th year, if they have no more than 1 loss, and the odds are they will have none

Auburn. Bama should beat every other team on the schedule by 14+. Even if Bama lost the SECCG 12-1 bama gets in the playoffs

That's what a lot of other schools thought. Florida, Nebraska, Miami. There have been many schools who have struggled after being a dominant program.

This is Alabama's third time around being a dominant program
1925-1946 (two coaches 5 national titles)
1958-1982 (one coach 6 National titles)
2007- today (one coach, 5 National titles)
Granted- 1946-1958 (70-60-10 were pretty rough, and 1983-1989 (58-25-1), 1997-2007 (sanctioned, 74-61) were as well...
So once Alabama got its bearing (1920's) they have done fairly well even between top coaches

Washington. A loss doesn't kill the season but a win could drive a really good one.
