Dude, your mother raised you better than that.
I do not care if you really do it, or not do it and just think about it, it is just sick.

He’s almost there, IMO.
From purely a stats standpoint Saban is likely to match or surpass all of Bryant’s records at Alabama. The overall wins will be the toughest.

Why does his record feel so much worse than 10-5
One of the losses was in year 1 which was at AU and meh. Auburn had more talent and only won by one score. Also most of the Bama wins have been blowouts and/or non eventful while the AU wins have been close or flukey.

Already passed him. It’s not even close.

Saban is now the GOAT...but Bryant is clearly #2. Amazing the two greatest were from Alabama...and there are 3 other NC winning coaches from Bama that would be the greatest at most other programs in Thomas, Wade and Stallings.

I guess you were ok with Harvey poisoning the trees then too, right?

Because he’s about 12-3 to 15-0 against almost everyone else in the league.

Coach Bryant still in that barner head after 40 years.

On one occasion after seeing a Bama fan pull up and leave a fresh bag of golden flake potato chips, after he pulled off, I took his chips. And I ate Bear Bryant's golden flake potato chips. And I also scored enough pennies from Bear Bryant's grave to buy a 75cent can of coke from the gas station to wash down those golden flake chips. And it was a delicious snack, all thanks on Bear Bryant from the afterlife
Harvey Updyke is going to meet you there with a revolver, tarp and shovel.

Lots of prisoners of the moment here. Saying he's lapped the bear is hilarious. Second, everybody had the same scholarship rules. Now that those dumb excuses are out of the way, let's see.
Bryant won 323 games with 2/3 of his career being only 9 or 10 game seasons
In the 70s Bryant won 8 of 10 sec championships
Saban has won 6 titles at Bama, same as Bryant.
Bryants win percentage at Bama is still tops.
Bryant should have won the 1966 and 1977 national championships. The horrific politics regarding Notre dame in those times directly led to equalizing the voters by region which is still intact to this day. I firmly believe if it was set up like it was back in the day there was a good chance Notre dame wins the 2012 national title even after being embarrassed by Bama.
The most important stat in my eyes, the iron bowl. Bryant OWNED, OWNED aubie at a 20-5 clip including 9 in a row. Saban is 10-5. Good, not Bryant ownage tho and a coach at Bama is measured by how he does against the cow college.
Yes, Saban is right there .....buuuuut, not ahead just yet. Saban knows it too and "passing" bear means way more to him than he will ever admit.

With Saban, I think he would've had similar success at any school with comparable resources maybe even more so at LSU

If he thought he would have more success there he could have left for the job during either of your coaching searches when he was at Bama. Cope more.
