Beat me to it. Will Anderson was too busy dropping back in coverage due to our buffoon of a DC.

I don't think it's enough.

I'd put it closer to -12.

IMHO Saban sends a message in this game but, who knows.

Bama will beat Texas. Alabama has more talent (4* and 5*'s) than anyone else in the SEC. They will win at least 11 games in the regular season. LSU-Bama might be 50-50.

Texas 38
Bama 34

I predict that Milroe starts and that he and McClellan will be very hard to contain. I also think Ewers, Worthy, Sanders, Whittington, and Mitchell will have Bama playing catch-up all night. Texas scores last for the win.

Can Texas handle a team full of five star lineman and five star backs just grinding them into the ground? Because Bama is likely going back to the more physical game and I’m not sure Texas can handle that up front
Texas' Defense was more physical than Alabama's Offense last year. Texas will be more physical this year.

Other than an 81 yd run by McClellan and a 20 yd scramble by Bryce Young, Alabama rushed 22 times for 60 yards. Early in the first half the guy next to me kept shouting, "Run the damn ball, they don't know what that means down here." Later, he kept shouting, "Quit running the damn ball!"

Will Andersen on Texas: "To be honest, since I've been here these last three years, this is probably the loudest environment I've played in." "Probably the hardest game I've played in since I've been in college football." When asked who the toughest player he faced last season, Anderson had no hesitation in naming his answer; "Bijan Robinson, the running back from Texas. He’s a big back. probably the toughest person I faced in college football."

After sending 2 DL to the NFL, Texas will probably start 8 Sr on defense, the first time Texas has started that many seniors in ~ 10 years. Kelvin Banks (Freshman OT) faced 4 NFL 1st rounders last year and did not give up a sack. No Bijan this year, but 7 other 5* on offense, not counting Arch, and one of the best WR rooms in college football.

Ought to be a good game.

My heart tells me Texas by 7.

My head tells me Texas by 14+ ushering in the beginning to Alabama's irrelevance.

You expect me to believe that Bama stands a chance when they:

1) lose 2 of the top 3 picks in the draft and a 1st round RB
2) have coordinator changes on both sides of the ball
3) traded in a Heisman winning QB for a freshman or two future Bama Busts™
4) developed an unprecedented number of busts on their OL

And they couldn't even win the SEC West last year after being heralded the preseason bEsT tEaM oF aLL tImE.

Texas meanwhile has a stacked offense and our defense held Bama to a season low 20 points last year against a fully healthy Bryce Young.

I don’t think Ewers is good enough to beat Bama on the road. I think he’s a good QB but it takes something special to beat Bama

Which is why you shouldn’t post on the internet after a head injury.

Let me know when you finally get to your wallet. You just keep waiting for the 5th quarter of last year's game. BAMA will be playing a different type of ball.

Bama all day until Sark proves he can win the big game. Personally I think he is a fraud. Maybe I will be proven wrong but I doubt it.

Think this offense is gonna be very legit. I agree beating Bama might be a stretch, but losing to Bama doesn’t mean that the Horns won’t be a very good team. Should be in the drivers seat for going out of the big 12 as champs.

How many times y'all going to use that excuse?

Now this is gold considering how many times Bama fans have whined about Mechie and Williams? being injured in the 2022 CFBNC game...
