They were incredible. They just didn't have anyone who could matchup with Sean May.

To answer OP question, my favorite was Kent State's run to the Elite Eight in 2002. I was living in the area at the time and it was really cool to see the town really around them. fricking Indiana and their incredible 3pt shooting kept them out of the Final Four.

LSU defeating Duke in the 2006 Sweet Sixteen and Garrett Temple shutting down JJ Redick, remember where I was the night that game occurred and thought LSU’s run would end that game but LSU dictated the game from start to finish and emerged victorious. I was literally shocked considering we were playing a Coach K-coached team with JJ Redick and Shelden Williams and defeated that team tbh it really diminished my opinion of Duke basketball and caused me to consider them overrated in the landscape of college basketball.

How can you bring up this team and not mention their comeback against Zona?

It was all about matchups. LSU was able to keep Tyrus Thomas on Redick and the rest of the team wasn't good enough to make them pay

Anyone remember the basketballs from Pizza Hut?

Yeah, I had many of them, but I specifically remember the 1990 one in Denver. I think I still have it. I know I have a Hardee's basketball with all the SEC logos on it. I think it's from 1994. My son has it in his room.

I'm 56 so I remember many.

Larry Bird(Indiana St.) versus Magic Johnson(Michigan St.) in 79' NC game.

Villanova shooting over 80% from the field to beat Georgetown, with Patrick Ewing) in the N.C. game.

when the NCAA's ultimate a-hole Jim Delany had to hand Jerry Tarkanian a national championship trophy in front of the world.

Arkansas lost a heartbreaker to ISU in the Elite Eight that year, but one of my favorite moments was the following year, when US Reed hit a prayer against Louisville.

One of my favorite moments as well. I'm sure you remember that Georgetown also had a great FG percentage, so Villanova needed to shoot 80%.

I'll also add Lorenzo Charles buzzer beater dunk in the '83 NC State vs Houston final. Houston may have been the greatest favorite ever in that game, but still lost.

Antoine Pettway against Southern Illinois and then our comeback the next game against Stanford.

Non Bama moment would be either Tyus Edney or Ron Hunter falling out of his chair as his son RJ drained that 3 to beat Baylor.

For me, the early 90's were the magical era.

The dominant Runnin' Rebs with Johnson, Augmon, Hunt, etc.

The free wheeling, high scoring Loyola Marymount run with Bo Kimble shooting free throws left handed in tribute to Hank Gathers

The epic 1992 Duke-Kentucky game

Steph Curry going bonkers taking Davidson to the Sweet Sixteen.

George Mason beating UConn in the 06 Regional Final in what has to be the most meaningful Cinderella upset ever.

Kansas and their annual choke job on opening weekend.

For the homer specials, winning in 06 was incredible - I was so nervous for the UCLA game, more than I was for any football championship game. Never know when you'll have a fluke night and the ball just doesnt go in.

Cheese hitting that miracle to beat Wisconsin last year went right near the top. frick the Big Ten.

Butler's run in 2010 was awesome all around. Just wish Gordon Hayward's shot went down.

The National titles for UF
The Final Fours(especially the Young group, such a special group of kids to get behind)
Chiz Floater to win last year was amazing

Outside of UF I honestly can't list it..so freaking many. It's what makes March Madness so awesome.

this made me realize that, for all our appearnaces in the tournament, we really don't have any "moments."

More often then not, we lose to the teams we're supposed to and often to those we shouldn't. We have a bad habit of being part of OTHER team's seasons.

The 2004 run was fun, all solid wins, but nothing exhilarating at the end or anything.

elite 8 and it was incredible. then they lost to the annual chokers, apparently,
