Hottest. Georgia at Clemson. 2002. That shite sucked except we beat them 30-0.

Coldest I’m not sure the year but Georgia-GT and Reggie Ball threw it out of bounds on 4th down. It was Miserable weather more than it was just cold.

Hottest - 2007 A&M vs. Fresno State, by far.

Coldest - 2009 A&M vs. OU - it wasn't that cold, but I only had shorts and t shirt to wear and a cold front hit right before kickoff. Temps dropped by like, 40+ degrees by halftime. Still stayed until the end though.

Hottest App state/LSU. Gustav was heading for LA so they bumped it from a night game to 9am.

Hot, humid, but we kicked their arse

Coldest I was would be 2002 LSU/Alabama. We also got to see Alexander run every which way on LSU. I think he invented a few new ones that night. a-hole

There was way more than that. Word got around the stands that the cooling stations were overflowing and running out of water, and paramedics weren't available to help transport people, so people stopped calling, and groups of guys just carried people out of the stands when they passed out from heat exhaustion/dehydration/etc. Folks were dropping like flies.

I've been to a lot of really hot games at Kyle, but nothing comes close to that one. I remember looking around at one point and seeing 6 or 7 people collapses and being carried out of the stands at the same time, all from my section and thinking "Am I an idiot for still being here?" Still stayed through all 3 OTs though. Maybe I am an idiot, but we won.

Coldest

I lived in Wisconsin in 2013, during the polar vortex. Wanted to see a Big 10 game so I went to see a pair of 8-0 teams, Wisconsin at Minnesota. Good game. Minnesota's stadium was fairly new.

0 degrees out - utter hell in my book. I had three layers on and was numb. Went to get hot chocolate and it was cold by the time I got back to my seat. I sat there understanding why no kid from the south would ever go up to play in that.

LSU - Tennessee 2005 Monday night was worst I’d dealt with.

LSU - Troy 2008 was coldest I remember. Maybe it was the fact that we were getting our arse beat for most of the game that made it feel worse. Windchill had weather in the 30s.

Liberty Bowl in Memphis

Hogs vs. Eastern Carolina

Wind chill was down around -20 at one point. My feet hurt for 2 days after that.

Hottest was an Arkansas-Auburn game. Maybe 2007. It was hot. Coldest was the 2000 Iront bowl, it was sleeting before the game and just miserable. She had long hair and by the second quarter, her hair was frozen.

Hottest: Houston at Bama, opening game 1997. Dubose' first game. Brutal.

Coldest: EASILY the 1988 Liberty Bowl in Memphis. NC State vs Indiana. I was just 9 years old going with dad's (he was an assistant coach) HS team that I was a waterboy for. Was about 10 degrees F by the 4th quarter with brutal wind. Wind chill WELL below zero. Basically, the entire team was back on the bus before the end of the 3rd quarter. I was dressed in more layers than I could move with, and still froze.

Coldest. Independence bowl 1989. No clue how I ended up there. Some old hag from Oregon got us kicked out. Just remember I was relieved to go anywhere warm.

Hottest, take a pick for any NLU game in September.

Most August-September games are sweltering.

I attended a bowl game between Kentucky and West Virginia in Birmingham that was very cold in the 1980s.

Bama lost 14-10.

The Liberty Bowl is the single hottest and coldest stadium in the southeast. It’s either an oven or an ice box. There’s no in between

Coldest - Kentucky High School state championships at old Cardinal Stadium. Just old school bleachers, with the wind whipping around your head and feet. Awful.

Some really good games, though, back in the day.

I agree on the 2007 Fresno St. game. There was no wind that day and it was over 100 degrees and about as humid as it can be. That was the game we rode Lane’s back to win.

Coldest would be the 2009 Independence Bowl vs Georgia. We sucked that game and even wearing a few layers wasn’t enough. We left well before the game was over since we were miserable. Of course we then sat in the parking lot for more than 2 hours because traffic getting out was hilariously terrible.
