Coldest ND at A&M cotton bowl 1991?

Not only is that the coldest game I’ve ever attended, it’s the coldest I’ve ever been in my life.

Hottest - Fresno State at A&M, 2007

Coldest Ohio St vs Michigan 1987 - I remember the urinals being the warmest place in the stadium

Coldest: Liberty Bowl night game in the late 70s - wind was blowing straight out of the north and we were in the south end zone high. I was dressed to party after the game and not for a cold azz game. Froze my rear off.

Hottest:
Gotta be an afternooner in late August or September first-game-of-year at Faurot.

The hottest was September 11, 1971 in Sanford Stadium. It was somewhere in the mid-90s and the humidity was stifling. It was the first game of the season for both the Dogs and Oregon State. Back then the Beavers were a team full of big ole slow white boys and they were flat out wigging out on the sidelines, taking fluids intravenously. The score was 56-3 at the end of the 3rd quarter, and Dooley, being the gentleman he was, emptied the bench and the final was 56-24.

The coldest was a high school game in 1967 in Manchester, Georgia. I think it was 12 degrees in the first week in December.

There are plenty of hot games early season in Mississippi but the one that stands out to me was Ole Miss vs. Notre Dame in 1977. It stands out because it probably played a big part of the game. No way Notre Dame could prepare for that heat and humidity. It may sound like I'm a big OM fan but the coldest was an OM/LSU game in Tiger Stadium probably late 80s. It wasn't terribly cold temp wise but a big cold front blew in late October with a north wind blowing like 20+ mph. We were sitting in the South endzone at the top of the lower deck. The concourse acted as a wind tunnel. We were way underdressed for a late October game.
Only time I've been to Tiger Stadium and was disappointed with what I was expecting and neither team were very good that year (or at least didn't have really good records going into the game) so the game was poorly attended and not very loud at all. I'm thinking it was like 87 or 88.

Hottest I remember was USC Trojans at Auburn in 2003 for the season opener. It was mid September or so with temps in the mid to upper 90s with the usual later summer humidity you’d expect in Alabama. Seems like it was a late afternoon kickoff around 5:00 PM. Our seats were in the north end zone where the sun just beat you down for almost the entire game.

Coldest was the Iron Bowl in 2000. It was the first Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa since the 1900s. Temp was in the mid-30s and it was raining and sleeting off and on. It was just miserable. And the game was just about as sloppy as the weather. Not a single touchdown was scored by either team. But I was still happy when it was over because thanks to three field goals we won 9-0.

Hottest was 2002 game at Clemson. They ran out of ice.

Coldest was a December early nineties Falcons game at Atlanta Fulton County sitting in the upper deck in the shade of the overhang. That was miserable.

Hottest- Ole Miss ba Auburn in Jackson 1990 and State vs Kansas State 2019. Both had temps in the upper 90's(97-99) with heat indexes in the 105-110 range.
Coldest- State vs Arkansas November 2000 and State vs A&M Indy Bowl December 2000. Arky was an unexpected mix of snow, sleet, and rain with temps in the mid 30's the weekend before Tgiving. I was very unprepared. The Snow Bowl was fun as hell but cold. The 2007 Liberty Bowl was cold and boring. UCF vs State.

Speaking of cold Cotton Bowls, I vaguely remember Notre Dame-Houston Cotton Bowl feathering Joe Montana as being particularly cold.
