Hottest - Florida at Miami in the Orange Bowl, Emmitt Smiths first game I believe.

Coldest - Illinois at Ohio State, the game where Eddie George set the single game OSU rushing record.

2014 Clemson in Athens

Think it hit around 98/99 that day and I was in full pledge attire. Easily lost 5 pounds.

Coldest- 1992 Egg Bowl in Oxford. I was 10. OM stopped us on eleven plays inside the ten within the last 4 minutes. They call it The Stand. I was irate, and cold.

Hottest- I don’t even know. It’s always hot in Miss.

That 2006 season had an absolutely brutal end to the season. I had a photography press pass for the high school state championship games in 2006 and someone wanted me to cover the 5A Eufaula-Athens game on a Friday night. It was about 15F and gusting. I just told them "Nope, my shoulder is killing me." (and it was, a month or two later I had rotator cuff surgery)

I also attended the 2007 Alabama spring game. I was drenched.

I think that possibly the worst I have ever been at a game was the first SEC championship game in Birmingham. I have probably been to overall colder games but that was truly miserable. Was standing the whole time in a breeze at just below freezing and I was "under-jacketed" with only a thin trench coat. It was much warmer in north Alabama when I left to go to the game and when the sun set I felt like I was turning into a popsicle. Miserable.

Hottest- Central Arkansas in 2012 felt like VHS was on the surface of the sun. Also Hugh Freeze’s first game as our coach

Coldest- ‘97 Egg Bowl in Starkville. It had been raining and it was fricking miserably cold the whole game. That was the game Tubberville went for two and won the game though so that helped a little.

The Egg Bowl 90% of the time is overcast, cold and rainy. I’ll never attend another one in my life.

Hottest = 2002...Georgia @Alabama...around 90 degrees and very humid...Georgia won, 27-25.

And...2008...Georgia @Arizona State....98 degrees at 8pm kickoff!...Georgia won, 27-10.

Coldest = 1974...Georgia Tech @Georgia...not necessarily the coldest, but without question, the MOST MISERABLE game I've ever attended....it rained, snowed, and sleeted the entire game...only 47,400 attended the game...the field was one BIG sloppy mess, it was destroyed....and, worst of all, Georgia Tech won, 34-14.

Hottest was State vs Memphis at the Liberty Bowl in 2000.

Coldest was a State vs Ole Miss baseball game in 1998. Windy and below freezing for most of a Friday night game.
