9-3 would be accepted.
10-2 would be awesome
11-1 or 12-0 everybody would be over the moon
8-4 depending on who the losses are too would be aggravation but looking forward till next year.
7-5 would put him on a warm seat for 2027.
6-6 seat would be red hot.

9-3/10-2 if they manage to at least split the stretches of Ole Miss/Aggie-Bama/Texas.

Anything less would be a big disappointment even in year 1.

9-3? Seems like a fair target given its year 1 and the schedule.

These would suck, and the LSU fans would be understandably frustrated, but his seat will not be warm in 2027. We can't afford to fire him that quickly

I think LSU has to run the table at home.

The road games are 4 of the places LSU has struggled the most.

4-8 at Auburn since Saban arrived.
Lost the last 2 in Lexington and nothing comes easy.
4-11-1 all time in Knoxville.
Even only 1 game above .500 in Oxford.

I expect a loss to Texas, and probably Ole Miss.

Then possibly drop one to A&M or Bama, but I think we should win both.

Texas and Ole Miss are my two losses

You have been blasted by A&M. Didn’t change your DC. Wouldn’t count on that …

Slow down there little Aggie, Dont go painting A&M as a POWERHOUSE JUST YET. Tell us how many times the Aggies have won the SEC or I seem to remember LSU beating the Aggies for what 10 years .....Yep the Aggies beat LSU but in the end the Aggies are still a joke.

we can be 8-4 or 12-0

i will go with 10-2 and make playoffs

where are our losses? tough schedule

i'd say shorthorns and some road loss somewhere. maybe a trap game. an upset.

Team should be good, but schedule is a gauntlet

3-4 losses wouldn’t shock me honestly

This is a new topic and should be interesting...... NOT! Downvoted because this has been a topic and discussed since Lane arrived.

Judging by the shite talk you’d think 10-2 at worst. Maybe they’re being retarded Tennessee fans, who knows.

How much is the 2026 team making? Shouldn’t that be the barometer and not how many seasons the head coach has been there? Wildly expensive teams with a better coach should be better I’d think.
