1988 LSU v Miami Hurricanes
Yup. That was a heck of a rainstorm. Got our butt kicked by the Hurricanes. Wasn’t even close. Another classic game in 1988 along with the Earthquake Game against Auburn.

1992 Tennessee Florida. Heath Shuler couldn't be denied
Shuler was awesome...but it was Mose Phillips that I remember the most from that one.

Toughest playing I've ever seen, in the rain, was the game with ESU Timberwolves vs Georgia tech, in 92. I was there!

Yes, I was in Tiger Band for the Miami game, and yes it was as wet as everyone says.
However, I will also include 1984 LSU vs Alabama in Legion Field. Rained cats and dogs and there might have been a tornado warning during halftime while Tiger Band was on the field.
Alabama totally dominated the stats, but a blocked punt in monsoon gave LSU a short field for the game winning touchdown.

Not a downpour or torrential rain by any means, but 2003 Mizzou vs Nebraska had steady rain for much of the game - it finally stopped in the 3rd qtr. Down 24-14 Brad Smith scored on a 41 yard run on the first play of the fourth quarter. From there MU took over with a strip sack/recovery followed by a perfectly executed fake FG, a stop and another Brad Smith TD, and an INT and yet another Smith TD run. We outscored the cornholers 27-0 in the 4th quarter (really in the first 10 minutes of the quarter). That ended 25 years of futility.
We were sitting in the South endzone right amongst the Neb fans - all that action in the 4th unfolded right in front of us, although I almost missed the last TD with all their arrogant fans heading to the exits early.
Here's the 4th quarter in it's entirety....

Not a football game, but a basketball game. January 2014, #11 Kentucky came down to the PMAC for a game and it had snowed. Classes were cancelled but the game went on as normal and the PMAC was packed.
LSU would go on to win 87-82

LSU Miami late 90s
LSU and Miami didn't play each other the entire decade of the 90s. Did you mean to say late 80s? Wasn't a memorable game at all (was a Miami blowout), but it did rain in their game in 1988

1979. Bama vs LSU in Baton Rouge. Cold AF and rained all night. Bama won 3-0. I was 14 and there with my parents and aunt & uncle and cousins.

Hey Mizzou fans, yall remember the first ever Big XII game in Austin 8/31/96? Long rain delay and the game finished very late on a drenched field with mostly empty stands. We had to evacuate the upper deck at one point and I can remember the water running down the stadium steps over the tops of my ankles. One of the heaviest / hardest rains I’ve ever experienced.

Tennessee and Florida in 92 when the remnants of Andrew went through
Andrew had nothing to do with this event. Andrew dissipated 21 days earlier.
I was at this game. I'll never forget Mose Phillips high stepping the the final 30 yards of a 67 yard TD through a foot of standing water along the sideline.
