Then why do all the posts on the rant reference his age? He would still be 24 if he got the waiver.
And lsu fans would still believe it was a conspiracy against them.

Age has never been a qualifier on NCAA eligibility. Not sure what your point is.

I guess you'd have to ask those specific people. I have no problem with his age. I have no problem with Ole Miss doing all they can to make him eligible.
I have a problem with this conference picking and choosing when they want to determine eligibility.

All of the older guys should be embarrassed about playing in a league comprised of mostly 18-21 year olds. There should be a hard age cutoff at 23, with very, very rare exceptions allowed.

I think it is dumb to reference his age. I would just call him an ineligible 6th year player which he absolutely is.
When it comes down to it, there is no public outrage because it is Ole Miss. If that same thing happened with Kiffin at LSU, there would be so much outrage at LSU "cheating". But good guy Ole Miss can do no wrong by having an alumni give players extra years to help his own school out.

If I were an Ole Miss fan I would be bragging about sticking the middle finger to the NCAA and SEC and playing a sixth year quarterback.
It’s way more bizarre to pretend he’s unquestionably eligible and act like the university actually abides by the rules and ethics while LSU does not

You mean Chambliss coming back per the Ole Miss Law School grad Judge...
He is playing due to a State Judge injunction, not a federal one. Don't see why the two players that were looking at LSU are being singled out and not Chambliss.
That being said, we lost. It is what it is. I hated the defensive game plan and the O Line stunk.

Why would LSU fans care as much if Chambliss is at Kentucky? That wouldn’t give a huge rival a substantial competitive advantage. Of course we’d care less if he was at Kentucky or Vanderbilt. Who is arguing that?
