The Tri Delta house at Alabama was always strange looking to me.

And I think Arkansas' campus looks like something out of Soviet Russia. To each their own.

Then Kentucky is Romania, Tennessee is Lithuania and South Carolina is Ukraine for starters.

I'll take that as a massive compliment, thank you considering the scenic beauty to start with.

I never said a cross word about the backdrop of the campus. I just hate the architecture, outside of Old Main.

Looks like it was modeled after something from the 60s or 70s.

You don't like the Peabody or Carnall Hall?

*DISCLAIMER* I have no idea who the dude is pulled it from Google. She is from right after the Civil War.

Peabody

Added effect for LSU are the tree's just like Arkansas' are the hills and leaves changing colors in the fall.

LSU somewhat reminds me of UCLA's campus.

College campuses have some of the most beautiful architecture left in America. I think that's one of the reasons I love going to other campuses.

I totally agree. I really like visiting different campuses to see the architecture. The three nicest ones I've been to are Notre Dame, Duke, and Washington University in St. Louis. I'd live to see Yale, Harvard, Princeton, and Stanford some day.

One campus that really struck me was the University of Washington. It's not one you ever hear people talk about as a nice campus, but it's pretty stunning. Gothic buildings, beautiful landscaping, and views of lake Washington from all over the campus.

Arkansas' campus is destroyed right now.

They are hopefully starting to complete the expansion in engineering. They have torn down Sewell Hall. I forgot what they are going to replace it with. I assume so new athletic dorms/facilities. They are tearing down the student athletic center which is huge. I would tend to think ideas on how to destroy Beard Eaves are starting to formulate. I hope they add more parking and repave the existing parking lot.

I completely agree. I used to date a girl that went to UDub. It was incredible. Check out their library for crying out loud...

It is. Those pictures of LSU are incredible. The LSU quad is amazing. I still think my favorite area of campus is the row of buildings that backs up right to the stadium. I always thought it would be awesome to attend class in one of those buildings with Tiger Stadium within in yards of the classroom.

Wow - Washington's campus looks pretty amazing.

I always love these threads. Outside of a few outlandish comments (Soviet Russia = Arkansas' campus? Really? Get a life.), the pictures are always awesome.

LSU's trees are incredible.
