Ole Miss ranked number 11. Arkansas plays them really tight for the entire game on the road, and they don't receive one vote?

Arkansas will have their shot to enter the top 25 when they host media darling ND next week. Could replace them in the rankings if hogs win that one

ETA or unfortunately for yall if that happens the narrative will shift to how overrated ND is and then that will cool the talk on Arkansas getting ranked. It won’t be how good Arkansas is, it’ll turn to how bad ND is

Too many ridiculous things to share.

1. Texas at 7 is a joke of all jokes.
2. ND should not be ranked
3. SCe should not be ranked with Sellers out
4. USC should be ranked (25)
5. FSU should be higher

These are just my top 5

All of the above and TN should be higher. They'll likely end up top 10 if they keep playing the way they have.

Huh? In no way whatsoever was ND illegitimately in the playoffs last year. They absolutely deserved to be there and were a far better team than this year.

How does making some stupid joke about how we lost to them in the playoff last year with our backup QB counter that if they go on to win out who they only play anyone close to a pulse once in USC, should they be justified in a playoff spot?

Arkansas/Notre Dame is not next week. It is the week after. Arkansas looked good on offense. Petrino doesn’t disappoint. But the defense isn’t great. Neither is Ole Miss’s defense. Our offense is questionable with our QBs. We won because we were at home.

Notre Dame playing two SEC teams surprises me. They thought they would get an easy space with Arkansas and A&M. If they played today I’d put my money on Arkansas. Their offense is the real deal. Defense isn’t good right now but Notre Dame isn’t an offensive powerhouse. And theh play in Fayetteville.

How about LSU being ranked #4? I think that is too high since the team played poorly on offense in all three games.

Please point out a time where an SEC team played 8 ranked SEC teams in one season

Apples to oranges, just because they are all ranked right now doesn’t mean they’ll all be ranked still when you play them

I guarantee at least one of those teams will be unranked when you play them (South Carolina and Mizzou for starters)

The joke is on LSU for struggling against Clemson and Florida. Yet being ranked very high.

Like LSU played against two teams that are now unranked after being ranked earlier.

Mississippi State not being in while undefeated and a win over a ranked Arizona State team all while Notre Dame remains ranked despite 2 losses (though admittedly very close ones to ranked teams) feels unfair.

If Notre Dame had at least one win, I could see it... but it feels they're being rewarded simply for "almost" winning.

I’m no fan of the Notre Dame, but they did lose to 2 top ten teams by a total of four points. Could very well be 2-0.

I’d like them to answer me this. How do they warrant placing Bama above Tennessee when they have the team Tennessee boneheadedly lost to above the team that trounced Bama? Neither teams other wins are any more impressive than each others.

I know it’s impossible for horn to be impartial but right now OU has a hell of a lot better resume than you guys! After Georgia they are playing the best football in the SEC by far!!
You guys lost to Ohio and played uninspired at home vs nobody!!

Agreed

I’m asking why that poster demanded Oklahoma be ranked ahead of Tulane when they already were

ND ranked at all whilst being 0-2 reeks of illegitimacy. They have 2 top 10 losses

One loss because of a missed extra point and the other by a FG. “Top 25 Team” takes into context the games themselves, as well as a team’s record. It is not “illegitimate” for ND to be ranked at 0-2; nor was it for 0-1 Texas to be ranked in the Top Ten after week 1,

There is not a team Texas would beat in that top 20 except Illinois and Michigan.
