true Austinite with a boyfriend who needs the shite kicked out of him.
You're probably in a frat too.
Try not to get AIDS.
I'm an old "red arse" Aggie who would drag you behind my truck then look at you.
Stay home you fig.
Just letting you know that this new age of college fans have it easy. You are too cocky to be a Texas fan who hasn't achieved shite in 20 years.
Someday you will calm down with your Walmart tshirt to realize you've earned nothing.
And your life is nothing.

Venables record in national championship games as a coach is 2-6

quote:Agreed. And if he decides to hire a play caller, I would be elated if he came back
Sark isn't going anywhere. Go get some fresh air.
quote:they promised the baseball coach an entirely new stadium. He still left for Austin less than 24 hours after achieving more than any person in aggie men’s athletic dept history
One week after he signed an extension?
quote:They already tried that back in April. It resulted in them driving back to college station with their tail tucked between their leg and three additional conference losses
I think they would burn Austin to the ground.
So Texas is stealing another generational a&m coach?
Because it was shockingly easy the last time CDC tried

Is there a way to mute this noisemaker?
A 2-8 team winning their first sec game on the road against a 7-3 team ranked in the top 20?
You don’t know if that would be an upset?

Well we made a bet so I’m set to honor it either way
quote:I don’t disagree with this. But we’ve seen many times that teams that are quick on the trigger end up even worse than before.
realize the next guy could be worse and our athletic department doesn’t have a stellar reputation when it comes to hiring guys, but I don’t believe Sark is someone who could ever get us there so I think we have to swing for the fences.
We have to ask ourselves what we want to be. Do we really want to be a program that can compete for titles or do we just want to be content winning 8 to 10 games a year and looking like arse every time we play someone like Kirby?
Look at Auburn post malzahn (or chizik even). Look at Florida.
Better yet, look at Nebraska after Frank Solich. Have they ever finished a season with less than 3 losses since they fired him for doing just that in 2003?
I get swinging for the fences, and CDC has done well at that. But I also believe some loyalty is owed when a man just won 12 games or more each of the last 2 seasons (something that’s happened maybe 5 or 6 times in program history, if that) after taking over a program in the midst of its worst era ever
He has a lot of players coming back next year that had very little experience coming in this year. I think that should count for something too. If Texas is scuffling at 4 or 5 losses next year, obviously my tune would change
Well you are utterly certain that Texas can easily upgrade from a guy that finished in the top 3 each of the last two years. So why shouldn’t the new guy be held to a similar standard?
Like I said: careful what you wish for

I mean how long is the ban for?
You’d think somebody who’s entire wellbeing is centered around betting a stranger on a sports message board would have some terms worked out

Ok great. Bet is on. How long is it for?
You are having a legendary crash out. This is amazing.

You are such a coward I knew you would do this
quote:Go ahead.
thankfully there’s a history here. I’ll find it for you.
Careful what you wish for. Apologies in advance when Texas isn’t good enough to win the national title in the next coach’s first year
I mean I never remember betting anything because you were trying to bet $5,000 of Monopoly money, but sure.
Going to be hilarious watching you kick and scream if his replacement doesn’t immediately win 16 games in their first season

I’m not necessarily sold on those rumors tbh. They’re not going to fire the guy.
If he wants to leave, he’ll leave. But they aren’t going to pay that enormous buyout and fire him without cause even if he gets blown on the next two games to end the season

Besides the Cotton Bowl is closer to Norman than it is Liberal Pansy Austin.
Both things can be true:
Quinn being hurt hampered him ever living up to his hype. That’s not entirely on Sarkisian and Milwee.
At the same time, Sark and his staff aren’t doing a good job developing positions as they should be. A lot of their success has relied on being able to recruit players so talented they can lean on natural ability (Kelvin Banks, Xavier Worthy, AD Mitchell, etc) to beat teams they’re supposed to while falling short to teams with comparable personnel
