MSU has a knack for being slump busters. And Bama has a prime candidate for that.

You can bet the farm that Mark Sears is gonna go off. Benched in his last game? Sheeeet, he might break some records tonight.

You can comfortably assume he's gonna go like 6 of 9 from 3, 30+ points, 10 assists for the double, 4 steals.

Josh Hubbard is gonna try to go step for step with him cause he's never seen a shot he doesn't like, so he'll end up 3 of 15 from 3 with 13 points and 4 turnovers, but he'll have 36 minutes.

Meanwhile we'll have our best player in Kugel shooting 75% from the field scoring 15 points while only getting 19 minutes.

And with all that, Bama will still only end up winning by 3.

If I bet on sports, I would destroy Alabama at +1.5. Alabama is a stone cold lock.

That's what I'm thinking. I'd be close to betting the house on Alabama.

Always a tough game, these two sure used to lock horns.

I believe Bama is 10-2 last 12 against us. I don’t think Jans has beat Bama. We have no point guard, Clary is out for the season. This lifelong State fan will be cashing in a Fan Duel bet with the Tide.

Bama have an injury issue?

Yes. Wrightsell and Mallette, two best shooters on the team, are out for the year. All American freshman Derrion Reid has been out 4 games and is listed as questionable tonight.

Eh, this is his best team and you guys are more balanced than any of those other teams. I'm guessing it will be similar to your game with Kentucky a few weeks ago in terms of pace and scoring. Hope we can find a way to squeeze it out, but it's going to be very tough.

If LSU had a better outside shooter the Bama game might have had a different result. Y’all’s rebounding was insane against Bama.

If LSU had more outside shooters they'd be a tournament team.

- make 2s well (#22 nationally)
- offensive rebound well (#56 nationally)
- defend pretty well (#16 nationally in eFG% against)

Their biggest problems are they generally don't defensively rebound well and they're a horrid 3 pt shooting team (#304 nationally) and they turn it over a ton (#299 nationally).

Even as an AU fan I’d say that was easy money.

LSU is up 6-0, but it feels like Auburn is dominating.

Hope Chest is ok. Can’t afford to lose him with Reed already out.

I dread all conference road games for a good reason.

It was one of the signs to Oats that we weren't ready to play on Saturday - we weren't getting offensive boards and we're Top 40 at it nationally and they're bottom 40 at it. It was clearly an intensity thing and it set him off from the opening possession.
