I totally expected Kansas State to choke there. Was totally surprised. I wonder what that weird KSU message board has to say.

The SEC went down with McLemore’s ankle.

Nah. Committee had two SEC teams seeded to make Sweet Sixteen. Two SEC teams made the Sweet Sixteen.

It is really amazing that this has to be said. Posters are acting like the F4 was suppose to be all SEC.

The league wasn't viewed as strong because we had elite teams.

There are 2 9 seeds and an 11 seed in the Elite Eight.

Know that that means for next year? If you said the MVC will get better seeding, you’re wrong.

It means not a fricking thing for next year’s selections.

So technically Loyola chi, Fsu, and Ksu shouldn't be in the elite 8 bc they played lower seeded teams. Gotcha

No. That’s not the argument.

Will the MVC get better seeding next year based on Loyola’s performance this year? Not really. Will they get more teams in? No.

Now see if you can form an analogous sentence.

Doesnt matter if all 14 teams made it in, we didn't have a team good enough to sniff the title. If you dont win it all it teally dorsnt matter anyway

First explain how anything I said led you to your first response. There is nothing in my post that should have led you to that conclusion.

But I think this will sting for a bit for us with the NCAA tournament.

You're wrong. We had a bunch of mid-level teams. There were zero great teams at the top to make it to the last eight.

Any deserving SEC team will go next year. The PAC12 is the only league who won't get the benefit of the doubt based on not deserving to be in this year's tournament.

Just for the record, Vanderbilt carries no responsibility for this. We had the good sense to stay home and get drunk while the rest of y'all were letting the conference down.

From a league where the highest seed was roughly 15 on the S-Curve.

From the NCAA Seed List

10. Tennessee
13. Auburn
17. Kentucky
21. Florida
25. Texas A&M
26. Arkansas
32. Missouri
36. Alabama

Congrats, Big12 ( little 10 ) is now a basketball conference. At least a few of your basketball teams can play defense. Wasn’t sure if that was taught in your conference.

Which tells you the league was roughly expected to have

7 in Round of 32 (had 6)
2 in the Sweet 16 (had 2)
0 in the Elite 8 (had 0)
0 in the Final 4 (had 0)

So, again, the SEC basically played to seeding

We were not better than that this year.
