He's got to do it when it means something, which he has not done. There's going to be a drop off, Joe wasn't exactly a world beater in Year One himself.

Tua's injury did have a silver lining, Mac Jones logged some real world time and did pretty well all in all. Should he progress as he hopefully ought to, we should have a solid starter and won't have to throw an untested player or even a true freshman out there.

I don't think anyone with a brain disagrees with any of that.

LSU left the old offense and we're not going back. Kind of scary for a BAMA team that is used to Les Miles offenses.

Not really. Saban has proven time and time again that he's fairly good at adjusting to the times and changing tendencies in the game of football.

My point is that LSU is not an auto L anymore. I think you think that we have just gone back to business as usual but we don't do 2 yards and a cloud of dust anymore.

It never was. Those games have always been tough and hard fought.

Bama very well could

Since Saban schedules some of the worst Non-P5 teams on the Reg —> No BAMA can’t do it!!

Really??? What is there to argue about??

LSU went to Tuscaloosa and won. Do you think Bama was really better and got cheated somehow?

Is it an excuse to state a fact? He was recovering from a serious high ankle sprain. And then the very next week he destroyed his hip. Tua was a great QB at Alabama but the kid was sadly made of glass. He was a game time decision that night. I don't think it's an excuse at all.

He apparently felt good enough to try to run for a touchdown.

We finished the game kneeling the ball.

Did you really just have the gall to call the 2019 Tigers an “inferior team”?

Pocket passers shouldnt try to scramble.

Especially with "bad ankles."

If you get 6 moral victories do you qualify for some sort of bowl game?

If and when we play this year and beat you again, the hysteria from Bama fans will be epic. Before last year's game, the message was that LSU would never seriously challenge Bama again. Coming into this year, the message is LSU was a one hit wonder and got lucky because of injuries, youth etc. After a loss this season, the message will be oh shite, maybe our dynasty really is over.
