All I know is that Bama's 2018 team went into the natty with talk of it being the GOAT team. They got thrashed by Clemson 44-16. LSU's 2019 team went into the natty against that same Clemson team and laid solid claim to title of the GOAT team with a 42-25 win. Keep in mind that LSU took a knee (the good way) in the red zone to end that game.
