Don't forget some LSU fans want Mizzou DC Baker. Kelly didn't even retain him as a DB/LB coach from the previous HC team. I said why would Baker go work for Kelly after he hired House and been there just 2 years and would fire him. Might the same be said for Baker if he underperforms there in year 2? At Mizzou he is comfortable and doing very well and like it there. Why would he risk his career to work under Kelly?
Baker was the DC at Miami and he was fired there. That is why Baker rather stay put and enjoy being at Mizzou and not have the stress and pressure to make it as a top DC. He is doing a fantastic job so far and that should be where he will be there a long time. Moving can backfired and do him harm. He had been fired at Miami and would not risk having to go through that again.

I honestly think one of the main reasons they put Alabama in was because they wanted to punish Michigan and take Harbaugh down a peg for the cheating scandal and all of his other jackassery.
They knew they couldn't punish undefeated Michigan after the Big 10 gave them a slap on the wrist so they did the next best thing which is make them play Bama after Saban and his machine have a month to prepare. Saban almost always dominates these games and Bama is a bad matchup for them regardless.
It sucks for FSU but Michigan would have beat them anyway. A backup QB against that defense plus their talented but undisciplined defense were not going to cut it and giving this Michigan team, who played a soft schedule despite the sign stealing, an easy path to the finals was more than they could stomach.

Watching the game with your cheap a$$ TV....that blue will come across as kinda purple. It will be like watching LSU and Bama... same results as well.
