Ty was 2-14 on 30+ Air Yard passes and 5-25 on deep middle throws.

We could not throw deep. If you watched the games it was noticeable that Ty had terrible deep ball accuracy.

DeBoers entire offense pivots around making these throws. At the end of the year defenses didnt even respect it because they knew he couldn't make the throw.

Ryan Williams dropped a bunch of deep balls under Milroe, but Tys were just not catchable.

If DeBoer can get improved production at the Oline level that would be huge. That would help the running game and Bama has some good RBs this year, young, but good. Bama's defense could be very special this year. I would not be surprised to see this Bama team playing in the NC game.

well when you lose 4 games every single year at a program like bama I guess up is really the only direction left you can go

Playing 14+ games a year doesnt make 4 loses as bad as in the past. Bama made it to the SEC title game, 2nd round of the playoffs and lost to the national champs that everybody lost too. Bama had a good season year. Their oline and running game kept it from being a great season.

Hasn't the running game always been the Bama way? Obviously you have great QBs(you usually need to be successful in both run and pass)..but like Georgia, LSU, Michigan, etc I have always thought power in games when thinking of Alabama.

Running was our MO but even the last few years of Saban we threw the ball more. We just had Najee Harris who made the running game lethal.

yeah because they get the bye from winning the conference, that isn't the gratuitous own comment you were hoping for

So you think Georgia fans were expecting to just be a top 10 team the last two years? Or were they hoping/expecting to at least make it to the final four? I can tell you if you are unsure.

I don’t know what games you were watching. Drops were definitely a bigger issue last season than the previous season. This is one of those deep balls that you say were uncatchable.

What are you talking about? There's no way in hell whatever point you're trying to make trumps mine, doesn't change the fact they got automatic byes to the quarterfinals of the playoffs by virtue of them winning the conference the last 2 years

Alabama and Wisconsin and Georgia, etc are rough and tough and wins games in the treches mainly. Def not a spread culture..now USC, Auburn, Florida, def are spread programs..then their is the mix culture like LSU and Texas, OU, USC where each style has worked.

My point is that Georgia fans expect to win a playoff game - bye or no bye.

Are you this stupid in real life or is it just part of this Gen Patton character?

Running backs are not DeBoer's fault. None of the RBs he recruited have played.

Was it not recruiting season? This just might be the single most uniformed football opinion I’ve ever read. Congrats (I guess)

It's not that hard. If they're going to be paid like professionals then treat them like one. If you don't do what's expected and don't produce I'm going to bench your arse, and then you can portal somewhere else. But when the NFL scouts ask me for my opinion about your character and work ethic I'm going to tell them the truth. After you and your parents burn through the $1 million we paid you in six months, then what?

Yup. Ain’t that hard.
Ask Carson Beck and Kirby.

You want $4 mil kid? There’s a school in Miami for you.

And the QB went in the draft at number 13. What am I missing here?
You need a little more time to develop a deep route. Our RT could barely get in anyone’s way in pass defense most of the year. 3 seconds in the pocket to throw just wasn’t happening and we couldn’t roll the QB out to get time.

Rushed throws generally aren’t that good unless your QB is exceptional.

OK sure, cool, congrats, bro. I'm sure any school who makes the playoff not a G5 school expects to win a playoff game, not sure what that comment contributed.

Being able to run the ball isn’t just fixed with turnover of a roster. It’s a culture. You guys this year will look a lot like we did when during BK era.

I think Lame Kiffin will carry on the torch at LSU.

Going to be tough for him in the era of NIL. At least 4 other SEC teams are matching or spending more than Bama. Saban never had to deal with that situation as GA before he left was the only SEC team matching Bama in buying players.
