This really is the answer. I'm not from but they have a lot going on during the fair weather months compared to others. So if the only thing going on is a spring game in an area it is easy to get more attendance

Complete BS.NUMEROUS recruits have talked about the crowd and mentioned what a great experience they had.
Why do so many schools host recruits during their spring game if it plays no factor in recruiting success?
The game was low energy snooze fest under CMR with maybe a half full stadium.

Probably have better things to do. Spring football might be the most boring over-rated sporting event ever created. Don't blame them one bit. Can't remember the last time I went to an A-day game.

LSU Spring Game always draws about 20k. usual crowd and the basenis excited.
