LSU never has a good spring game turnout. It’s just never been important here or a big part of the football culture for the fans.
A lot of SEC schools generate a lot of excitement and crowds over the spring game... LSU is not one of them, and never has. I don’t think LSU has ever gotten over 20k for a spring game.
Admittedly, if we did have big crowds I would be proud of it and probably sing a different tune, but from my vantage point I actually think it’s funny and a tad embarrassing that some schools DO have a big crowd for the spring game. Just seems like such a waste of time to me, and that’s coming from one of the biggest CFB fans in the US. There are very few things as boring as spring football games IMO.

Does LSU ever have a big crowd for its spring games? There wasn’t even a big crowd before the 2011 season.
A lot are at the Box and there’ll be a lot on campus later for the gymnastics regional finals.

I guess when you have no accomplishments to speak of, spring game attendance numbers are seen as being relevant. Poor aggot never will know how dumb they look.

They can be there for gymnastics and baseball but they don't care about football? Sad!

There’s a double header going on across the street. In one of many sports that A&M can’t beat LSU in

LSU should play it’s Spring game in Alabama. Then it would sell out.

Not Good is being shut out in back to back home games against the measuring stick. Your obsession has roots and they're obvious.

Maybe if A&M didnt shoot their load in the spring they wouldnt give up on football season by October?

No, not for practice. I went once when DiNardo was here (the only time I ever remember it being about 30,000 fans) and everyone was sweating their asses off. And I think he started it at 6 pm. After about the first 10 minutes, it's boring as hell.

Spring games are garbage. Must not be shite to do in Bama to fill a stadium for a practice

Another dumb thread from farmer. Who cares about spring football games? I have never been to one in my life and I’m probably better for not wasting those hours every year.

It makes sense. There just isn’t a lot of excitement in the program with Saban on top, A&M on the rise, Auburn great on occasion, and Lsu riding with o.

No what is there to get excited about in a spring game? It’s not even a real practice. Since they are on tv now coaches don’t want to put anything on film.

So it just generates excitement a lot of other places and previously at Lsu but just not any more.

Ours is next Saturday and it's supposed to be in the high 80s and rain. Doubt we'll come close to the 53000 we had last year.
