Interesting.

Looks like Saban was all alone in wanting to make the Conference better.

Saban is just trying to look like the good guy. I'm for a nine game schedule, but in reality, why should the SEC do it when they are ready get the benefit of the doubt during bowl game selection?

When Bama has a schedule that doesn't include Georgia State and Chattanooga on it, then we might start believing Saban wants to "make the conference better"

I'm sure everyone is looking forward to the FAU and Western Carolina games next year as well

you do realize that a&m's schedule next year includes rice, smu, sam houston state, and utep, right?

I'm well aware of our schedule (and I'm not happy about it). But I'm not on here saying we're trying to "better the conference." We're doing what we feel is in our best interest. I hate it. But at least we aren't hypocrites about it

Saban can schedule whoever the frick he wants as long as he keeps delivering championships. I know it sucks but you just got to DWI

We've scheduled tough OOC opponents every year under Nick Saban, and before him.

2000 - UCLA
2001 - UCLA
2002 - Oklahoma
2003 - Oklahoma
2007 - Florida State
2008 - Clemson
2009 - Virginia Tech
2010 - Penn State
2011 - Penn State
2012 - Michigan
2013 - Virginia Tech
2014 - West Virginia
2015 - Wisconsin
2016 - Chick-fil-A Kickoff versus TBD ACC school
2017 - Michigan State
2018 - Michigan State
