Pitt just played an emotional roller coaster in their biggest game lastnight. They’re celebrating like the won the Super Bowl and UT is coming in after having knocked some rust off.
I very much wanted Pitt to win last night but I also wanted them to go to OT. Pitt looked good from what I saw but since our games were scheduled in the same time slot I only got to see the last bit of theirs and they looked better than I thought they would. I know people that saw the first half thought they didn't look as good but that's also how first games go.
This will be a very good game, imo. I think Tennessee can win it (we could've won last year) but it's not gonna be easy at all. This is a true toss up game, imo with an edge going to the home team. If Tennessee can go in and have a day it will be a meaningful win for the program but it won't be entirely unexpected if we lose.
