I do hate it for the UgA players and seniors.
Vandy would lose 70-0 and it wouldn't even be fair. But, I don't think they're canceling because they know they're going to lose. They really have serious numbers issues.
Before the season started, they had 7-8 guys opt out.
Then some more during the year. Injuries, contact tracing.
I was really hoping the game would be played.

Honestly, if I were a Vandy fan I would not want this game played. It will not help the team or school in any way, shape or form. Time to close it down and start planning for a new year with a new HC.
As a Georgia fan, I would like to see the team play again, but I will not be surprised if it gets cancelled. So be it. 2020 sux.

Of course. Vandy already decided they didn’t want to play before the Dec 5th game. Rescheduling was a formality.
Probably good for Vandy. Reading between the lines, Kirby and McGarity were highly pissed off. And with the COVID limitations adding to an already pissed off HC and the teams being of night and day talent differential, the final could be 80-0.
