Florida doesn't travel well since all of their alums are from New York and Pennsylvania.

The closer this one gets the more I think Florida is coming out with a win.

^^This^^

Florida is the worst traveling major SEC fan base and it’s not close.

I’m always amazed at how few fans they bring to the SEC Championship. And in the Donovan years, you could hardly locate the UF section at the SEC Basketball Tourney. Just horrible fan support relative to how successful they’ve been in various sports.

I’ve also noticed this. Not only amongst travel for football, but just traveling in general. Floridians are more likely to travel within their own state for vacation and leisure. I suppose this extends to supporters of the university as well. Probably doesn’t help that they haven’t played a true road non-conference opponent in decades.

A lot depends on whether Cam Rising can play.

That's not fear, that's standard practice for pretty much every team in the country.

Except maybe Vandy...

On a sadder note, I had two older friends from work that were good buddies and big CFB fans. One went to UF and the other played football for the Utes. When this series was announced in 2019 they were both so excited for it. They already had a "loser buys dinner bet on it". Unfortunately, they both passed during COVID.

Florida fans don't travel, what are they worried about?

Now if UGA or Bamma was coming to town this might be an issue.

I love stadiums surrounded by mountains. Utah's looks cool.

THE only opposing stadium that Florida fans have ever taken over is Vanderbilt's. True story. I don't think that Utah has much to worry about.

It's a neat stadium. Surprisingly small/compact compared to a SEC venue. It's where the Olympics held the opening/closing ceremonies during the 2002 Olympics.

Serious observation here but, why is it LSU fans are more likely to hate the SEC family mantra and always cheer against other SEC schools and fans?

They also seem to have a disproportionately more number of democrats that hate America.

I've yet to understand why.

I saw a map the other day ... every other SEC state (including Texas, Missouri and Oklahoma) were pro something good on the scale and colored red but then, there in the middle, was Lousiana/LSU on an island unto itself hating on something and colored black.

I don't get it.

Is it the coonass french thing that permeates throughout the state?

You will see more LSU fans posting, "frick the Gamecocks, frick Alabama, frick Florida, frick A&M, frick Tennessee, frick Georgia" and so on and so forth ... and I get it, this is an LSU dominated forum but you don't see this on other forums.

I remember tons of Gamecock fans pulling for LSU in 2019.

Anyways ... I don't get it Tiger fans but you gotta admit, you see it all the time.

ETA: Most of us will be pulling for LSU big time verse the criminoles.

Shoot, that's not saying very much really.

I mean, if Al Qaeda was playing Clempson, I'd pull Al Qaeda...
