Texas, Notre Dame and Penn St still ranked. Lol
Massey has Texas at #35, too high.

Notre dame has 2 losses to top 5 teams by 4 combined points. They absolutely should be ranked.

A&M's best win is ND. A team that has a horrible defense and has no good wins. ND is not good.
They were ranked #5 at the time in a night game.
You on the other hand got spanked by a horrible FSU team!
Lolz

Rat poison. I would rather we were ranked 20th and the guys played with a chip on their shoulder with something to prove. Just stay focused on winning 1 game at a time. Polls are almost irrelevant at this point.

Ohio st overrated. They beat a bad Texass barely at home. Texasss had several chances to win and chocked. Then osu beat a string of cupcakes
Osu should be about 24
Osu should be about 24

Notre Dame and Penn State shouldn't be in the same conversation.
Penn State lost to a good, but young, Oregon team that had to travel across the country to your house and a UCLA that has looked atrocious this year.
ND took 2 of the top 5 teams to the wire and took Arkansas' lunch money.

quote:Nonsense. The point of playing a football game is to win, not lose by a little. Even if you played the 10 best teams in the country to close losses you shouldn’t be ranked in the top 10 over the teams that actually won. ND has played only two decent teams and lost both of them.
Notre dame has 2 losses to top 5 teams by 4 combined points. They absolutely should be ranked.
By your logic Auburn should be ranked in the top 15. They also have one-score losses to two undefeated top-10 teams. But Auburn has three better wins than ND, whose season highlight so far is a win against a marginal Boise State team.

Exactly. A&M fans are pimping ND because they are their "signature" win. ND is not a good football team. Their Defense has proven to be awful when they play any team with a pulse. I don't care if their Offense is good, you can't be considered a good team when your Defense is that bad.

Where are those that kept saying that State should be ranked? Always knew that a few votes after one win was in vain. With the upcoming schedule, another win is tough. Two, well, a miracle.

Miami is pimping that ND win.

Fine. But State should be ranked ahead of ND. State has 4 wins, ND only 3. State has a tough SOS, ND doesn’t. And most importantly State has a bona fide win over a ranked team; ND isn’t even close. Total travesty that ND at 3-2 is ranked ahead of teams like 5-1 Vandy and 4-2 State, and many others. If ND can win against Navy, which is about the only other decent team on its schedule, then we can talk. Until then, ranking ND is just hopeful betting on the come.
ETA: I forgot that ND also has USC on its schedule. But I want to see a win against USC and/or Navy before giving any respect to ND.

Don’t care about ND, wasn’t a thing to do with what I said.
