It does seem football is his entire life. Other than wearing tacky blue sports coats and talking to ducks he doesn’t seem to have anything else to occupy his time

Why should we do that? It’s way too much fun beating him
Doubt you would really know yet, you haven't had much practice doing that.

Funny thing is Urban is one of the few coaches good enough to compete with Saban. But he is too much of a pussy to deal with the stress

Saban is an average coach anyway but also Alabama is gonna decline to 7-5 every year after he leaves
Remember, you're are talking to a community here that has NO IDEA Bama was any good before Saban. Bama won a title with Gene Friggin Stallings. Check out his record before he got to Bama.

The Dawgs are going to dominate him and Bama in the coming years. Saban is past his prime. His best by date has come and gone. Ole Nick has lost a step or two and it’s showing.

Urban is a total immoral person. Just the kind of guy AU is looking for

Haha yeah sure do you think he will admit it and effect recruiting. He’s an intelligent guy you’d have to be stupid to do that

Best-case scenario, I feel like Saban would want to have someone lined up and maybe even on staff before he totally walks away.
As of now, I'm not sure who that would be.
A worst-case scenario could always happen of course, but I just don't think we've seen any signs of a transition yet.

Coach Saban just took the least talented/experienced Alabama team he has had to the CFP final, led in the fourth, and should have won the game.
If that is losing a step, then God help the rest of the SEC

One of the funniest quotes from my time on this board.

While he is the best the decline actually started when Clemson completely destroyed his manhood and his team in Santa Clara. And honestly UGA should've beaten him in '17. Again he's the best but at some point all powers fall (see Nebraska, Miami etc.)

Coming off of a season where, yes, Georgia did beat Bama in the NC, but also got their shite pushed in by Saban, this seems just a tad overconfident to me.

like the SEC title game when UA had their starting wide receivers?
It's why your most productive wide receiver left UGA for Alabama.

Since that game Bama has won a National Championship, 2 SEC championships, and have lost a total of 4 games, 2 of those games being to that year's National Champion.
Muh decline.

This is why that old bassturd will be around longer than we wish. But he will "decline" as defined by the outlandish bar he himself set....or he doesn't and he simply adds to his GOAT resume. The man is a freak when it comes to coaching college football. Best there ever was or will be, by a long shot, imo.

That could have been said about Coach Bryant in 71 after Nebraska did the same thing in the Orange Bowl.
Yeah, the 70's were the worst after that....
