Pretty sure both Kareem Jackson and Javier Arenas were not big time recruits and had decent NFL careers?

LaGrange (GA) High has been very good to the Kentucky Wildcats.

Wesley Woodyard was a high school WR

how many 2-star recruits throw 43 TDS and 370 yards per game?

That's a lot per game. Guess Trask never lost to LSU with those numbers.

So true. And he’s going to Med School.

Dan Williams. 3* DT outbid Memphis who became an all American and first round draft pick.

Also Arian Foster. 3 star out of San Diego who, minus the fumbles, became a very good running back in college and the NFL.

Jordan Davis was a 3-star OL prospect.

Everyone was recruiting Davis tho. No one was recruiting him for OL which is notoriously hard to project at the next level. Even so it's shocking that any service had him there - was it ESPN? UGA's answer tho is your QB.

The Honey Badger.Wish we could have seen what he would have done had he not gotten into trouble. He was one of the best play makers on defense we have ever had.

Mack Jones - 18th best Pro prospect, scored .8815 by 247

I'm amazed it took this long to see somebody post Mac Jones. He was a 3 star we stole from Kentucky. Ended up possibly our best QB under Saban.

Didnt know he was only a 2 star.

Went to a tiny high school in a tiny county in West Tennessee. Got basically no exposure. Oddly enough, him being so good resulted in another kid from the area, Chris Donald, to become a borderline 5 star several years later. He lasted a year or two at UT, transferred to UTC and don’t think ever played there.

Charles Harris was a 2 star (actually unranked till we signed him on signing day and then they gave him 2 stars). He became a 1st round pick and still playing for Miami. Had over 50 sacks/TFL for Mizzou.

Jamaal Anderson was a two star wide receiver recruit who was moved to defensive end and was drafted 8th overall in the 2007 draft.

One time Nutt and crew didn’t screw up.
