I'm going with Johnny Walker. His snaps were limited last year because of all the seniors in front of him. He's one of tbe few familiar faces on the EDGE and will get a lot of snaps and opportunities early on in the season. Plus, whiskey lovers everywhere are pulling for bim.

Probably LSU's best fit for the criteria laid out by OP.
Josh Williams could fit as well

I'll add that Mekhi Wingo may not fit OP's criteria but will look like Aaron Donald this year. LSU's DTs if they can stay healthy will be fearsome.

Though Landon Jackson, DE, did well last year I’m interested to see how he does since he’s gone from 239lbs to 281lbs at 6’7”. He hasn’t lost any speed and has potential to be a big factor this year.

Under the radar at UGA is a tough question.
Is a 5 star backup (or former top 100 recruit) last year under the radar for 2023?
I will go Cash Jones.
2 star RB recruit out of Texas. He was not a walkon. He was committed to New Mexico St and we had to burn a scholarship to get him to Athens, GA.
He was our 6th string running back in 2022.
With the season grind, 3+ score leads in the 2nd half, and his athleticism as a receiver, he will be the surprise of our RB room.
~200 yards for Cash on the year.

I’m going with Jake Johnson. He was injured last year.

I was going to list him with another couple.
Darris Smith, So. OLB - played WR and Edge in high school, record breaking track star, played at 6’6” 225 his senior year, now more like 6’6” 240.
Dillon Bell, So. WR - great length, kind of came on last year but I expect him to break all the way out.
Cash Jones, RSo. RB - Kirby called him out today in his media time, I think he’ll get a lot more reps receiving out of the backfield like Kenny McIntosh.

You beat me to the draw on Cash Jones. I had just posted Kirby's quote about him on another forum. He said he was the team's 'fastest back' and 'pound-for-pound the strongest player on the team...' whoa! Pretty impressive when we have guys on this team that can bench press the team bus and squat the freakun world! Is this the next walk-on-turned-legend for UGA?

Has as much of a shot at lightning up the league as Mertz. They both suck.

UGA
I'll go ahead and say it.
Carson Beck is going to be really really good. He's looked really in control and I think he puts up gaudy numbers this season and it will be with his throwing as he isn't a true run threat. Dude is going to an absolute stud and will get drafted.
