Been to Oklahoma City, El Reno, and Tulsa and it was all an apocalyptic wasteland shite hole. Cool street named after Garth Brooks though.
Eastern Oklahoma is pretty nice.
I'm convinced the people of Oklahoma City are in a competition with the state of Texas on who can be the worlds biggest a-hole driver. I don't even know why the city has roads and traffic lines/lights, it's not like they mean anything.

Such a horrible take. Beautiful springs all over the place, the Everglades, the Keys...

Georgia's Providence Canyon shocked me when I first saw it!! I never could have imagined a place that resembled THE Grand Canyon in Arizona would be in the South --- or ANYWHERE outside the West!! it's beautiful.
Stone Mountain, Georgia is the largest piece of exposed granite in the world! If anyone has never been there, again -- it looks like it belongs out West, not in Georgia or anywhere else!
Also, the North Georgia mountains resemble Northern Arizona with its pines and mountains. Arizona's mountains are taller, of course, but the overall scenery is very reminiscent of Northern Arizona.
PROVIDENCE CANYON, Georgia -- also known as, "The Little Grand Canyon"
STONE MOUNTAIN, Georgia (located in suburban Atlanta)
NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS
You're right.....Georgia is the Southern state that nearly has it all.....mountains, beaches, some snow and a touch of the desert in Providence Canyon, along with small towns w/great atmosphere, historic towns like Savannah and sophisticated cosmopolitan metropolises like Atlanta.
P.S. -- Let's not forget the beautiful and magnificent historic city of Savannah!
SAVANNAH
THE REAL 'MOON RIVER' IN SAVANNAH, GEORGIA -- composer, lyricist Johnny Mercer, who was born and raised in Savannah, composed the Hollywood movie theme song ('Breakfast At Tiffany's), 'Moon River'. His home was on the banks of this river for which the song is named.

Ive not said anything negative about Oklahoma. I merely corrected a misconception and Oklahoma fan had about some of the other states in the SEC.
I didn't address what you said to anybody else. I addressed the fact that you claimed my comments weren't true.
And I showed you that they were accurate.
Say anything you want about Oklahoma. Good or bad. But the fact remains that Oklahoma has twelve ecoregions. Tied for the most in the lower 48.
quote:
Mile for mile, Oklahoma offers the nation’s most diverse terrain. It’s one of only four states with more than 10 ecoregions, and has by far, the most per mile in America according to the EPA.
And I remind you that I never said there weren't "ugly" ecoregions.

If you ever visit the Flint Hills region (Northeast Kansas), you’ll change your mind about Kansas.
It’s awesome up there, true definition of the plains.

Seriously?? You’re from Oklahoma.
It is the ugliest state in the SEC as of next week. As far as Georgia goes you must have only been to Atlanta! From the Georgia coast to the Mountains of North Ga , the state has a ton of beauty!
Oklahoma barely has any trees at all!

Compared to Oklahoma???? Oklahoma and it ain’t close. The rest of the SEC, even Texas, has diverse areas OR unique areas, from the oldest mountains on the planet to the prettiest beaches on the planet with rolling hills and forests and wetlands in between. Oklahoma has dirt. That’s it. Dirt. Dirt everywhere in the south….it is the base of everything. That base is all there is to Oklahoma. Oklahoma is so bad that when native Americans had their shite stolen they were marched off to Oklahoma ‘cause it was worthless and without oil it still is…..

Its now by far and away Oklahoma. At least Louisiana has the gulf. Youd have gotten more flames with a thread about the prettiest state, of which several have very strong claims.

Yea, I too put little stock in an opinion from anyone who has not visited a Florida beach. But the Louisiana basin is well visited and enjoyed by photographers and sports enthusiast alike The Mississippi River and homes along it down to New Orleans are also well visited and along with the culture and cuisine are sought by many. Its hard to separate the beauty and history of the terrain in Louisiana and many would likely find the history of the terrain much more interesting. Maybe check to see the level of tourism per state to see where people are interested in traveling before you show your ignorance and over inflated bias opinion about your state.

You act like the libs didn’t win Birmingham and Montgomery. Little bit different when a metro area has the population greater than your entire state. I don’t like it either, but it’s a problem.

Oklahoma has got to be the ugliest state, followed by Missouri and Louisiana
Tennessee is I think the prettiest state, Georgia is also very nice, Florida as well…..

For a big urban area, Atlanta isn't ugly. In fact, it's one of the most beautiful in the nation.
ATLANTA....the most heavily forested urban area in the world, according to the U.S. Forestry office. The REAL Emerald City!

Atlanta is ugly. I’m there quite frequently.

Perhaps it's because your mirror reflects too strongly when you look at it while there.
It must be YOU that's ugly.
