Recruiting may get you to the championship game but coaching keeps you from getting burned on 2nd and 26.

An elite safety or CB might be able to make a play on that pass. Bama's advantage in that matchup was huge last year.

What is odd is that Kirby actually won a NC while at Georgia, head coach no less. Too bad no one else at Georgia shared that accomplishment.

Well, some of those won't pan-out and will be overrated. Anyway, Louisiana continually produces more players that go on to the NFL per capita than any state. Do some research. Matter of fact, a true freshman at Bama that caught the td to beat you in the ncg is a true freshman from louisiana. Once LSU gets the fence put up, and O is on his way to doing that, making it a priority, we will be scary once again and everyone knows it. Louisiana will always hold its own as far as talent is concerned. The thing is, a lot of these Georgia players bc of atlanta, and it being the college football capital of the south, get a lot more recognition out of hs, it's just natural. Not worried about Georgia and the talent yall have. Louisiana holds its own against anyone. That's even after katrina, where a lot of our talent moved to other states and are tallied up into their totals, yet, still have very strong ties to this state. So, our recruiting base is Louisiana, which we are the only power 5 team in the state, texas, we are a bordering state and only 4 hours from houston, the gulf coast, and into florida. Don't care, not worried. See you in Baton Rouge this season.
