Our Oline is garbage and UGAs 1s on the Dline are like playing a video game in God mode.

But doing the exact opposite of “homer/hater” is also a bad look.

Resorting to that so quickly makes it seem like you are incapable of discussing football due to your lack of understanding of the game. Learn the game and then come back to the discussion Siegfried.

Are we actually having a meaningful football conversation amongst UGA and UT Fans? WTF?

Also Vol Fans, whatever happened to Vols&Shaft? I personally found his takes hilarious.

And Djs idea of a conversation is just not a conversation. It’s generally regurgitation of someone else’s points and denying anything outside his reality. AKA the possibility that the Vols Oline at the 1s is better than UGAs 1s. But ole Roy Applebee/DjsDawg is the absolute worst kind of fan and every fan base has 1.

This is the same worthless trash talk you have resorted to for nearly a decade now.

It’s what you have done rather than discuss football in the past, and if you don’t flat out run from a discussion as you have been doing recently, you still muck it up with this trash instead.

This is clearly result of some terrible smokeyone uga takes over the years. Your 2017 uga take might have been the worst ever.

Who else wasnt on your offensive line when you played us in 2019? Morris adding a year and Carvin dropped about 15 pounds to improve his quickness. Calbert is a completely different guy off the bench adding 35 pounds of bulk in the offseason (was playing at 285) and overall it’s just a different vibe/confidence.

So other than mays it is the same group that ran for under 3 ypc against us in 2019?

You don't want to hear this but we've improved the talent level on the DL (jalen carter and I dont think Travon Walker played much against you guys early last season as a freshman). Same with linebacker (nakobe dean didnt play much early last season as a true freshman. Quay walker is also playing more as the 2nd string).

They are comfortable at 7 deep this year instead of trying to find 5.

That was us last season.
We are a lot thinner on the OL this year. Cade Mays is a huge boost to the flexibility on the OL. He was 2nd string at every spot on the OL but Center (platoon at RG). If people go down, you will really appreciate his ability to plug and play. He has to be a freaking genius to know all of those spots so quickly.

I just don't see how you can say with confidence that your passing game is an advantage over our secondary, even if our secondary hasn't been great the past couple of weeks. Shamburger coming back is big, not only for coverage, but the fact that Pruitt likes to use him in blitz packages off the edge, which was to great effect late last year. I also think you're underestimating the scheme aspect of this game. If UGA doesn't establish the run, and can't back off Tennessee's safeties, how well do they adjust?

Not saying we'll win or that the scoreline will look any different than anything already posted, but that is the key in this game. If Georgia can get balance then the game is over, but if Tennessee can force the game onto Stetson Bennett's hands then it'll be a ballgame.

No doubt. Bennett has a hurt hand too.

Sham back is big for y’all.

Rain likely helps the vols. Turnovers and missed kicks can shift the game to a vol win.

From a scheme perspective, UGA is going to try to do the same thing to UT, force the ball into Guarantano (sp) hands. Assuming both teams accomplish that goal, I still like our odds w/ Stetson and our WR against your DBs as compared to your QB/WR vs UGA DBs.

Tray Scott isn’t exactly reinventing the wheel with UGAs Oline. They are basically supposed to be fresh bodies to get in the Olines way. The playmakers are at OLBs. As a group they are greater than the individuals and really shine late in the 3rd when the 1s can still have legs and the opposition is wearing down.

Turnovers- Vols haven’t given up a TO yet

That's interesting.

4-5 on 4th down conversion. Aggressive play in short yardage seems to be a thing this year for Pruitt.

Lsu hurt us with this in 2018. They went 4-4. That also pressured Kirby into a failed fake punt early in the game.
We didnt have the front 7 in 2018 that we have now (and that was a road game). But I do know that Kirby could panic if he sees an all or nothing approach have some success.

Agree to disagree.

We dont have to agree before Saturday but we can revisit it.

No one on our team can do what Jordan Davis does (eat double teams and still stuff the back in 2 gaps).

Travon Walker and Jalen Carter are not human (300 pounders who can run down kickoff coverage and cover RBs out of the backfield).

The other players are your conventional DL. Malik Herring is our highest rated off player from last season. But all I chalk that up to is he doesnt bust assignments and he knows his hand placement.

We are all 3 levels right now. ILB (dean, rice, and walker). OLB (Smith, Ojulari, Anderson. It will be interesting to see if jermaine johnson is healthy). DB (campbell, stokes, lecounte, cine. I would normally put Stevenson up there but he is best against a great tight end and we haven't faced one yet this season). And DL (davis, travon walker, and jalen Carter)

The point is they are talented, well coached, and properly developed.

2 of the 3 are things you claim a Kirby led uga can’t do.

As a UGA fan, I'm kind of hoping to see Mays at RT. He got abused at RT in last season's Sugar Bowl by the Baylor DE who I don't think is as good as the UGA D linemen. I know the guy was an AA, but I think he put stats up in a pass happy conference.

Mays has slow feet and I think he's better suited at OG than OT.
