Dude!

Do you have any idea how old that graph is? Y'all have been hanging on to that for what? 10-15 years?

Payscale.com

Try using some stats from this century.

If you think Auburn is even with Georgia in football, then you are living under a rock. You could have made a case prior to this year, but no longer.

We are ahead of Auburn in every measurable in football.....or at the very least the vast majority of measurables.

This isn’t a high bar by most standards. If they didn’t get in it must have been a numbers thing. Undergrad stuff at UGA is pretty much a money maker for the school and nothing special. The law degree is import to practice in Ga or for political future. The Vet school is the most prestigious outside of Ga.

Stay in your lane, mutt. One natty after 40 years doesn't make you great in all things.

Why do people have such a hard time with comprehension?

to win a CFP National Championship.

Name one better....or get back in your lane.

Many fine schools in the SEC, though outside of a few degree paths I'm not sure how much they benefit society anymore.

I find that a well conceived business plan > a degree bearing any particular crest.

You know they’ve hit rock bottom when they’re bragging about erroneous salary stats and basketball. Auburn’s a sad place.

Your basketball team sucks arse and your football team just caught up with Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama in the ranks of SEC programs who have won a national championship this century, despite it being one of the least viewed national championship games in recent history. Athens is pretty forgettable, unless you contract an STD there, and the fan base acts exactly as you would expect them to when they just won something significant for the first time in many of their lifetimes. You even edited this fine piece of work.

UGA and Florida are solid but nationally not comparable to Texas, Cal, UCLA, UNC, Michigan, etc.

AUREO

You have no idea what you are talking about. UF is precisely the only school in the SEC that is comparable to Texas, Cal, UCLA, UNC, and Michigan. Those are exactly UF's peer institutions and they are exactly in the same tier rankings- the only SEC school in that tier.

Auburn? Not even close. And, they aren't even an AAU university. UF is.

So if I am reading this right, this list would go:

1) Georgia
2) Alabama
3) Louisiana State

Right? The only other 2 schools who have won a CFP are Clemson and Ohio State. Neither are in the SEC.

So hopefully this makes the OP feel really smart, because we want people to feel good about themselves, you know mental heath is health.

UGA OBJECTIVELY has the second highest admissions stats in the SEC after Vandy

Just not true.

Florida HS students know better than to apply to UF only to be rejected. There are 10+ other good schools to choose from. GA HS students have only two other good public options, GT (great choice) and GSA (below average).

Is this a joke? There are only 4 AAU institutions in the SEC, Vandy, UF, Mizzou, and A&M. UGA is not one. The AAU consists of 64 USA institutions and 2 Canadian universities that are (based on rigorous criteria) the most elite academic research institutions. Notably GA Tech is one. So UGA is not even considered the top university in GA.

Campusreel.org

"If you’re looking at acceptance rate alone, then University of Florida (UF) is more difficult to get into. However, each college is looking to fill its incoming class with a variety of students with different strengths, backgrounds, etc. Therefore, the acceptance rate alone is not a good indicator that University of Florida (UF) is a better school or will be more difficult for you specifically to get into. On the flipside, University of Georgia (UGA) is easier to get into based on acceptance rate alone."

The answer is Maritime Transportation with License Option which is offered at the Galveston Campus (still considered part of A&M College Station, they even get season football tickets and Aggie Rings). Starting salary out of school is $130k, mid career above $250k. Harbor Pilots make $600k-$1 mill. There are only a few schools that offer it with A&M being the only regular University that does so and it's very much in demand.
