Your basketball team sucks arse and your football team just caught up with Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama in the ranks of SEC programs who have won a national championship this century, despite it being one of the least viewed national championship games in recent history. Athens is pretty forgettable, unless you contract an STD there, and the fan base acts exactly as you would expect them to when they just won something significant for the first time in many of their lifetimes.

OP, Aggie graduate salaries are higher, you want a meaningless rating or cash?

If you want to hang your hats on this list, go right ahead. You might want to do a little more digging, though, before you make a further idiot of yourself.

The reality when it comes to average salaries for grads is that major is far more important than where you went to school for most of them. A&M does well because we have a massive and highly ranked Engineering school and Business School that cranks out a lot of grads that make a lot of money. It's not like a History major from A&M is rolling in the cash. Schools like UGA, Bama, Ar and Ole Miss have very large Liberal Arts schools and very little in the way of Engineering and that really hurts them on salary surveys.

BTW, A&M's highest paying major isn't Engineering and it is likely the highest paying major at any SEC school (speaking of Bachelor Degrees). I doubt many can guess what it is.

As much as Aubies want to believe their own stats, there's no way that grads of a school on the "plains" in Auburn, Alabama earn more than grads of the University of Georgia in Athens. UGA is a much higher rated university and is much more difficult to get into than Auburn. UGA students come from all over the country, and many from metro Atlanta. These are among the brightest students in the southeast, US. They don't make less than students from the state of Alabama. There's no way to accurately gauge salaries of particular schools.

My, my those grapes are really sour. Aubie. Better spit them out before you choke to death. Athens is hardly a forgettable town. All polls ranking the best college towns think it’s more than special. Most polls say it’s by far the best college town in America. And have said so for years. And as a frequent visitor and soon to be part time resident I can vouch for the accuracy of the polls.
I can understand the stress you are under. It’s not ever day we all have a front row seat to witness a program destroying itself. It’s an incredible thing to see AU imploding.
And yes Georgia is the NC. It had to happen. The only strange thing is that it didn’t happen sooner given all UGAs talent and resources. This title is only the beginning of more to come. Kirby has built a powerhouse - a dynasty in its infancy. And AU will just have to get use to it. Gonna be tough. Especially since AU is a raging dumpster fire. It’s gonna take years for AU to recover from the self destruction of their football team as well as their administration and athletic department. Yall sure got a hot mess on your hands and the funny thing is you did it all to yourself. If y’all weren’t AU, spewing your bitterness, spite and hate toward UGA and Bama 24/7 I could almost feel sorry for y’all. But I don’t.

Thank you. It was so much better than never getting to the SECC at all. Like AU

Average ACT of 32 and GPA of 4.0.

Most competitive school in the conference after Vanderbilt. Objective fact.

LINK /

UGA OBJECTIVELY has the second highest admissions stats in the SEC after Vandy. Above UF and well above A&M and Auburn (both of which accept well over 50% of applicants - fricking embarrassing).

Got a link ? If not then it seems like b.s. not saying it is but it seems so. However no doubt UGA has went libtard like most U.S. universities which explains a lot about today's western society.

I already provided a link right below his comment showing it was wrong. Like most facts here, it wasn’t commented on. It was downvoted

And what has that got to do with Georgian not being in the same conversation with Florida educationally?
