UGA fans, how did the LSU game go in your opinion?

Everyone expected LSU to lose, myself included. But I'm surprised to see that LSU out gained and had more YPP than Georgia. I would've loved to see what the final score would have been without the 17pt swing caused by the fluke interception and punt block return. I think the game would've been within a score. UGA never really let off the gas offensively or defensively. Of course they started going more clock control in the 4th but that's a given.

We expected to win big and leave LSU fans with a lot of “what-ifs”.

Would you also have loved to have seen what the score would have been without our kicker’s fluke miss, and with us not taking multiple knees at your 25 with 1:45 left on the clock with timeouts remaining?

Two can play this silly game.

About as good as expected. Definitely didn't expect us to be up 35-7 in the 2nd quarter.

Did you watch the game? Punt?

UGA sleep walked through the second half. LSU was on par with Vandy on Saturday.

Your midget coach tried to get your crippled QB killed throwing him out there defenseless and injured. He obviously doesn’t care about the well being of his players.

Delusion. UGA quit at halftime.

We started ball control at the half. We threw the ball 5 times the entire half.

This is false. We threw 4 passes the entire second half after 4 passing TDs the first half. We did very little blitzing second half as well. Game was over at halftime

Pretty well. Defense played way below their own standard, but not gonna complain about a 20 point win or and SECC.

Desmond Howard picked A&M to win the title, preseason ranked 6th. Finished with less wins than your initial rank. Must have a true illness to even post this lmao

This is Tennessee level of revisionism without the whining about playing on a neutral field. Personally, I thought both defenses would be better than they were. But I was pleased that our offense could move at will when it wanted to. LSU has a good core of players to build from and y'all should be right back in the mix next year. But you got blown out on Saturday

Kick block returns and interceptions that bounce off helmets aren’t flukes when your team is disciplined.
It’s was a heads up play by Georgia to return the ball that LSU clearly gave up on bc they didn’t know the rules.
The interception was the result of tip drills.

As an outside observer who watched both teams this season, it went about like I presumed it would- a thorough arse whooping.

That was the 3rd quarter.
24 pass attempts in the first half with 4 passing TDs.
5 pass attempts in the 3rd quarter and 0 in the 4th.

And we set a vanilla defense in place in the 3rd quarter (cover 2 shell with a basic 4 man pass rush. No simulated pressures).
When we finally fielded our 2023 defense and started mixing coverages/pressures again, we forced the sack/fumble.

My wife knows as much about football than LSU fans. That is embarrassing for LSU fans.

I thought your offense played well and our pass D had some bad plays.

Still no idea why you guys didn’t cover the blocked FG. Such a huge momentum shift.

I would never have thought that many points get scored on either side.

I thought UGA played their worst game of the year defensively in the second half and LSU played the best they've looked all year in the second half. I was expecting a 20 point victory.

Tends to happen when you are killing clock in garbage time.

This tells me you haven’t watched UGA play all year. UGA completely let off the ga, maybe more in this game than any other. We played a shell in the second half and brought 4 only with no real pressure. Carter didn’t play 75% of the 2nd half. Kirby was so worried after Ladd went down, he was just trying to end the game without any more injuries. Any time UGA went balanced attack with pass and run, LSU had no chance to stop it. The only stops LSU made is when UGA just ran the same play over and over and we still ate clock and scored at times. Kirby shut it completely down at half. Point was proven and he wanted no more injuries.

Sorry to open your eyes to the truth.

Kick block

It’s like they think this is a fluke, when UGA seems to block a FG in Big Games in situations over the past few years, once is a fluke.. happening consistently is good game planning and preparation
