I think I predicted a 41-13 win for the Dawgs. I would’ve been a lot closer had Neus not come in trying to win the job (or a good transfer spot) for next season. That kid looked like baby Burrow for a good portion of the 2nd half.

There is a lot to work on for UGA in prep for OSU, but I’m pleased we covered the spread and won the championship in the SEC.

LSU is going to be a force in the coming years.

Wrong. Only 5 passes the second half says differently.

UGA did give up too many passing yards. IMO, it is a good thing it happened. This gives Kirby and staff something to harp on the next three weeks.

I am not unconvinced Kirby does shite like this on purpose.

35 in the half. Kirby made a point and went home.
70 would not been out of the question.

With a mercy knee for almost the entire second half.

Others have pointed this out... but it bears repeating.

UGA absolutely let off the gas.

On defense UGA stopped bringing pressure and ran a prevent defense. To their detriment, the prevent defense didnt' work and LSU was able to pass against it... but that is absolutely a sign of the defense letting off the gas.

On offense UGA didn't pass much in the second half. UGA had just 5 second half pass attempts (completed 4 of them). They had 24 in the first half. They had 31 second half rush attempts. That is also a sign of a team letting off the gas.

At this point LSU fans are turning a fairly small thing (a poor performing prevent defense) into a big deal. But when the defense wasn't in prevent, they held LSU to 7 points and made many of the key plays of the game.

If we go up by a huge amount and try to go prevent in the future, we could give up some yards going forward... but does that matter much? It's only an issue if you're blowing your opponent out... and blowing out your opponent is a good thing.

Offense looked great. D line was great. WTF happened to our secondary? I'm guessing we were playing to keep everything in front of us. Kelee Ringo was getting picked on and got benched at the end.

LSU played great. You have lots to be proud of.

This matchup is never close in the SEC title game. I expected some revenge for 18 and 19 and we got it. Not knowing kick off rules and bad bounces didn't help.

So disciplined half your team thought the ball was dead. It was a blow out but get out of here with that

Two guys ran off celebrating the block.
The rest of the defense was telling smith not to touch it. It was a live ball. He grabbed it anyways as the undisciplined lsu tigers headed toward the sideline. Like I said. Heads up play.

I was fortunate to be at the game and I think there were some nervous UGA fans in the second half given how easily Nussmeier was slinging it around. But, that lead never felt in doubt. We def had a few things bounce our way, but you have to take advantage of the opportunities - and we did. It always feels great to beat LSU. Y'all have a great program and great fans - the LSU folks I was sitting around were fun, polite and enthusiastic. I think they recognized they were overmatched, but BK will rectify that in the coming seasons.

UGA threw 5 passes in the second half, 1 in the 4th quarter. You are delusional.

Hated seeing Ringo get burned repeatedly and Starks gamble and lose a couple of times.

LSU looked really good with Nuss bombing way in the 2nd half and connected 3-4 chunk plays that LSU capitalized on. LSU’s lack of depth really showed as they didn’t win a lot.

Overall it was the dominant win I was hoping for. Wish UGA has tackled a little better.

It took a mercy rain shower to keep that from being however many damn points Kirby wanted it to be. Tennessee wasn't scoring in dry weather and Georgia's offense was going up and down the field in dry weather.

As for this game, I thought it went really well for the most part. It was nice to see a blocked field goal. Georgia has gotten really good at that in big games for some reason.

Jalen Carter is like a moving Coke machine. Holy hell he's incredible. I think he's better than any of the 3 DL we had go in the first round last year.

Stet was very sharp as he has been in every big game this season.

This is the best pass blocking OL I've ever seen in college football. Stet routinely has all day to throw the ball. The interior run blocking leaves a lot to be desired, but they are dominant pass blockers. Stet hasn't been sacked since the Vandy game. That was in mid-October.

I have concerns about Kelee Ringo.

It went perfect. The game was over at half time. In the second half Kirby rested some defensive starters to prevent injury. Jalen Carter was watching from the sidelines. When LSU scored the UGA offense answered to preserve the blowout. Kirby will be coaching up Kelee Ringo and Starks who didn't play their best games.

We spotted them 14 and came away with zero going for it on 4th and goal. Hung over 500 passing. I think we did pretty good all in all!

Our lack of depth hurt!
