I thought Kelly would take the UCLA job when Mora gets fired. Basically recruit all of L.A. I'll believe it when I see it but Kelly at Florida is scary as well.

I thought so as well. I thought he was a pipe dream like Gruden to Tenn. But..I'll take it.

I'm pretty pumped about this. The B1G has loaded up on really solid coaches. I'm tired of the SEC being SO bad.

Everyone is shitting on Florida and Kelly, but considering the lack of quality coaches in these league, it is a needed addition.
Consider this playoff for this season. If the SEC was strong, we'd have probably 2 SEC teams locked for the playoff today, but since so many teams have looked lackluster, we hear the narrative of UGA or Alabama, or even Auburn haven't beaten anyone

I don't think he'll be at UF for all that long. But I think he'll be successful there.

Naw it's a friend who played for Miami actually as weird as that sounds. He works with an agency now and seems to get all the info days before others in the MSM. He nailed Richt to Miami, Harbaugh to Michigan, Mac being fired. He knows the major agents in CFB. So his sources are more wide spread than just UF.

It was the stifling D that killed Chip in 2011....and don’t think we can’t field similar ones as that in the future. That said, it would be a good hire and good for the conference....but honestly not that concerning as a fan.
