We can definitely lose to them, but we should beat them with our A team

Oh I agree but for whatever reason we just don’t fare well vs. UEFA under Poch. Tonight could’ve been his first non-loss
Gotta be kidding me with that shite

Bosnia scares me simply because they’re UEFA

For All Man Kind - how is that show?

I recommend it. First 2 seasons are incredible TV.

Kind of starts to jump the shark in season 3, but I thought it was still compelling. Season 4 is pretty good but it's outlandish, however if you like the show you'll stick through it. Haven't finished Season 5 yet.

I'm excited to start Star City to see everything from the Soviet angle.
I have kids and haven’t had the time to watch much Marvel content since about 2023 but is there any chance Daredevil is in this? Cool to see Punisher is involved and I’ve been hoping to watch the Disney+ Daredevil and Punisher reboots for a while now.
I can’t focus on anything but Landon’s Turkish hair transplant

It does feel like there's no hype for this thing.

People were saying the same thing in 1994.

Soccer purists HATED that the US hosted back then. The international press and European/South American crowds were shitting all over FIFA for the decision and said all stadiums in the USA would be half empty for the games. 1994 turned out to probably be one of the best World Cups ever.

I think the difference this year is that ticket prices are absurdly overpriced. That will 100% impact turnout but I still think it will be more successful than a lot of people are predicting.

A lot of Americans want it to fail because they hate the President.

Didn't the Bears spend a ton of money on purchasing a horse race track outside Chicago a few years ago for this purpose?

This feels like a pure leverage move. Isn't the Bears administrative building in the northern suburbs? It all just seems so inconvenient for everyone.

re: Trump endorses Nancy Mace Opponent

Mace has gone crazy since she got to Congress. Nowadays she’s nothing like she was before she was elected, and that’s a shame because her potential was as big as her tits.

Pam, on the other hand, is kind of boring but she’s very easy going and definitely does a good job with communicating sound policies. She’s the safe bet for Trump’s endorsement.

I’ve been trying to convince my wife that it’s not worth living in Charleston anymore. It has sucked here for years, but she’s from the DMV area and still thinks this place is great. She doesn’t get it.

I always hoped we’d eventually retreat back to North Augusta, Aiken, or Yemassee after a few years, but sadly the writing is even on the wall for those places when it comes to outsiders and over-development.

SC will be a lost cause within the next decade.

I'll throw in Orangeburg, SC. I think you can find something charming, or at least redeemable, in just about every town in South Carolina, but not Orangeburg. It's just depressing there.

Spartanburg also blows, but at least it is in closer proximity to nicer areas. Orangeburg has nothing around it.

Has anyone gotten a glimpse of these warlocks yet?

All I've seen is the same picture of her and I need moar.

what did the Titans know?

I've been trying to find it, but there was a thread in the Titans subreddit a long time ago where a poster said he saw Vrabel and Russini out at some restaurant in Nashville and the vibe was that they were definitely more than friends. Another poster backed it up saying he had seen them out before too, and that he was surprised at how brazen they were.

Pretty sure one of the mods thought it was a troll and might've deleted it, but it only fueled the speculation that Vrabel was banging Russini among Titans fans.

If the Titans knew about the relationship and thought there was a possibility that Russini's kid was Vrabel's, I could see it being a pretty big factor in firing him. Trying to hold onto a coach who went 7-10 and 6-11 consecutively probably wasn't worth the potential PR disaster.
Again, I think a lot of people are missing the point that it's just not Vrabel's relationship with Russini that could jeopardize his job, it's that he lied to Kraft about it - which initially led to the Patriots PR going to bat for Vrabel, only for it to blow up spectacularly.

Finding out that he was banging her while she was in her third trimester just adds a level of nastiness to it.

I don't think he'll lose his job, but I wouldn't be surprised if he takes a leave of absence for a while and hopes it all blows over.
