But avoiding charges because it wasn’t concealed.

Impressive, really, that Florida continues to do dumb, highly questionable shite and not actually get in trouble for it

Yep, just wear your seatbelt and keep it in the front seat.

If he was released it means he had the license and papers to have it.

It's so great to see UF is back. And on the same day Urban Meyer makes his comeback as well.

And yet you had to rush and start a thread about it.

I sure hope he doesn't have to have papers and a license.

When you run around the crowd the UF team runs around it’s a pretty good idea to always keep that MF thang on you.

Toney was the one that was armed with ‘an airsoft rifle painted to look like an assault rifle’ in May. Now he has the real thing?

And the excuse that the rifle is needed for his own protection...protection from what? I’ve lived in Gainesville for years and have never felt the need to ride around with a gun in my car ‘for protection.’

All of those kids are either bad news already, or they’re hanging around with people that are bad news.

If a UGA player was driving around with a loaded AR-15, you wouldn’t wanna call attention to that?

How many threads have I made about UGA?
Did I make a thread about Crowell and the handgun without the serial number filed off?

Most states allow you to have firearms in your vehicle and on your person without a concealed carry license as long as they're legally owned and not concealed.

Initially handcuffed for safety reasons due to the presence of a weapon in the vehicle, police eventually released Toney on the scene after officers determined that because the weapon was in the backseat of the car and not concealed on his person, Toney did not violate Florida's open-carry law, per Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times.

Seems to suggest that it would have been illegal if concealed

So... it *was* legal.

I'm confused by this thread. You are a better poster than this.
