Seems to suggest that it would have been illegal if concealed
That's because the author is an idiot. Also, it says, "...concealed on his person." If he were to conceal it and take it to Walmart without having a concealed carry permit, that would be illegal.

The video opens with one GDP officer telling Toney that he "can't keep an AR in the car like that."
Why not? I mean, if he isn't breaking the law, why can't he?
I took that to be the officer’s way of saying just because you CAN do something does not mean you SHOULD do it.
He did nothing illegal and that’s fine but carrying a long gun around in the back seat is not smart. If for no other reason than it stands a good chance of being stolen when you stop and run into some store to grab a few things.
To be clear, I have ZERO problems with him owning it and carrying it wherever the hell he pleases, but in the back seat would be my dead last choice.

Florida as a state is a different world

Impressive, really, that Florida continues to do dumb, highly questionable shite and not actually get in trouble for it

I am really confused! Why mention loaded AR-15 in the car if it was not concealed? Is this player sending a message to all other players, students, and coaches to watch out or else?
