I'd lose before I'd let them do that. You think Gene Stallings would have put up with that? He'd have run everyone of them off if he had to play with walk ons and the entire fan base would have backed him up.

I believe De Boer could have done it too. cut out the cancer. He was a first year head coach and everyone would have given him a pass knowing the circumstances. His way or the GD highway. Plaayers don't dictate to an Alabama Head Coach I don't care about transfer portals NIL or anything.

If Ty had played last year, Bama probably loses to LSU and Georgia, but wins all the other games.

Probably so. They needed to run a two QB system but Milroe's ego was never gonna allow for that. He thought he was a pocket passer. But truthfully, Milroe had a ceiling but he couldnt consistently get anywhere close to it. He was terrible at the easy stuff.

Homer, Bart or Ty Simpson?

Seems like a push to me

How quickly some have forgotten the beat down against a weak Florida State team

Either Simpson improved significantly this past off-season, or both Saban and DeBoer made ridiculous decisions at the QB position.

He was definitely not ready in Saban's last year.

An argument can be made however that he should have replaced Milroe especially after either the Vandy or UT games.

Are you arguing he is the best college QB this year? Or he has the most NFL potential?

Those are two different questions.

This. You could see even in the scrimmages and spring game, Ty was holding the ball too long before trusting his reads.

In this modern "me, me, me" era of the portal and NIL; he stuck around and waited his turn, won over the team and is now the unquestioned leader.

Ty SImpson is what college football is supposed to be like.

Simpson didn't even have the best performance of a QB against UGA this year

Im a Simpson fan but how can we not consider the Ole Miss QB the best? He's thrown for 300 yards and ran for 50 in three straight games. Simpson hasn't done that.

Pavia won’t play on Sundays probably, but as a college QB he is the best in the conference.

Pavia, Simpson, and a rotating cast from week to week behind them

Aguilar has mostly been good all season, Tenn's defense is just terrible.

No argument here. Ty looked great against a top 5 team. Nuss on the other hand is arse!

I will conditionally agree. Simpson’s arm is electric

I haven’t seen Chambliss play yet. But he is piloting seemingly flawlessly for the Rebs.

Pavia is a Leader of Men. He has “it”.

Better hope that version doesn’t show back up. Or God forbid that he has to play from behind against some team.

The one issue he has is he still gets the ball out late and fires it 80 mph where nobody can catch it. He does great reading the defense in zone coverage finding the open wr but against man coverage, he waits until the wr is looking at him.
He needs to trust his receivers are going to beat the DB and put the ball up while the defender has his back to him. Put some air under it and let the receiver make a play.
His deep ball on vertical routes also needs some work.

All the qb’s getting preseason hype have sucked (with the exception of Mateer)

We’ve got Simpson, Aguilar, Chambliss going gangbusters.
