The LSU posters grasp of basic arithmetic in this thread is embarrassing and deeply concerning

Even more concerning? The UTrans posters inability to understand television markets/population and anything else related to what helps drive those numbers. It’s pretty sad

The Big 10 continues to get bodied in ratings.

I've tried watching Big-10 games but they're as exciting as watching the Braves play on a random Tuesday afternoon in June.

Hey Grok, what are the five biggest brands in college football? Use TV ratings as a main ingredient in your assessment

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Texas
4. Georgia
5. Michigan

AI Overview
The One Thing Holding Ole Miss Back From Being a National ...Yes, Ole Miss football is widely considered a major national brand, even if it is not traditionally classified as a historical "blue blood" program.

Ole Miss Athletics +2
Several key factors drive its national standing:
Brand Valuation: 247Sports ranked Ole Miss as a top-15 biggest brand in college football, bolstered by its strong presence in the SEC.

National Partnerships: The program actively secures high-profile partnerships, such as an on-field logo sponsorship with Progressive Insurance—making them one of only two SEC programs with that specific type of on-field branding.

Modern Marketing: Aggressive investments in creative content, transfer portal success, and high-visibility coaching eras have expanded the program’s "pop and sizzle" far beyond Oxford, Mississippi.

There are levels to this. 11 million is not a bad number but 15 million for Texas Ohio State is higher. Ill go on record and say this will not be LSU's highest rated regular season ratings number

Well, we all know why. Nothing brings greater joy to the world than 1) Bama struggling/losing, and 2) after all the shite talking and bravado from Lane and LSU fans, everyone wanted to see how that would end.

So to you, 55.1% is “barely” outperforming?

Apparently it will never happen again in history according to lsu homers

Did BAMA hold 7 million viewers from 3:30 to 9:00? 2 weather delays later, and fans can't turn away.

Feel really sorry for those 2.7 million retards who wasted three hours of their precious lives watching that Ohio State-Kent State game.

Pete Chizik got his once in a lifetime win. Even Saban lost to inferior coaches and last Saturday Pete Chizik was that inferior coach.

Just to note LSU, Ole Miss, OSU and Texas has major prime time matchups which boosted ratings.

Alabama has not had one major prime time match up and won't till UGA in a couple weeks.

Just shows how strong Alabama's brand is... we play East Carolina? 5 million viewers. We play Kentucky? Almost 8 million.

What can I say? It has always been GOOD to be KING

Never really understood ratings brags. There are so many variables to it. I think Ole Miss - LSU peaked near 14m once all of the weather delay games ended.
