Someone likely swerved accidentally (like what happens every day on the road) and Kiffin assumed it was malicious because hes so full of himself.

He did. It’s out there if you’d like to go actually watch it and stop relying on articles.

He never once said it was on the way to the airport. You’re taking “leaving the state” as literal when all it means is after the decision was made. He said he called a cop he knew. Why would he have to do that when he had a police escort going to the airport? Because it didn’t happen going to the airport, if it happened at all.

A little common sense goes a long way.

So your argument is that we should not take Lane literally?

According to Lane, there also isnt time between when he "made the decision" and flew out. The drive to the airport is the only time he would have been on the road between those two events with Knox.

He lied. No idea why LSU fans are so adamant to defend him on this.

As a Texas fan and new to the SEC, I know nothing about Kiffen except what I have read and heard him say but in that context he seems to be a real con man and low class.

What?

He told your AD Saturday night after the Iron Bowl.

You guys can’t get your “facts” straight because your “facts” have come from your local media who’ve been wrong about just about everything in this situation.

Maybe stop trusting everything you read? Go listen for yourself, the PC is on YouTube. He never said it was on the way to the airport.

Just like taking his coaches and not letting them coach the playoffs (proven false)

And that he left the dog (proven false)

Kiffin is an American treasure. He is the villain that makes the game more fun. The fact that LSU hired him is eating you people up.

Opinion:

Being married to a narcissist for 8 years and knowing them quite well, I can tell you he has convinced himself everything he's saying is absolute truth.

Kiffin is an autistic sociopath. Good offensive coach though.

I thought I heard him say that he called one of his cop buddies. Think there could be a record of that?

He loves attention. Hes always tweeting and sending cryptic messages to get people to talk about him and it works.

All that aside hes a great football coach.

He better hope he succeeds at LSU or it will be ugly.

He is a good coach so congrats lsu. He is also a mental train wreck with no morals. I remember what the ole ball coach was asked “what are your thoughts on bama hiring Saban”? He said “a coach with no morals or integrity going to a university with a fan base to dumb to care!” He chuckled and walked off. Bama became a powerhouse until the rest of the universities could pay the players also.
