You pretty much have to be a piece of shite to hate him. Some people here are just that.
Pointing out that he was embarrassingly carted off the field for bruised ribs does not equate to hating him.

Have you ever had bruised or cracked ribs? I'm guessing not.

No denying that he's injury prone
Hummmm…. So a 300 lb DLman pancaking you and landing full force on top, bruising or breaking ribs make you “injury prone?”
I guess someone hitting you in the head with a bat knocking you senseless makes you “injury prone…”
I guess a soldier in a foxhole being blasted by a mortar round is “injury prone…”
I guess a pedestrian hit by a car and hospitalized is “injury prone…”
I guess a QB who pulls up, along with his entire team, when the whistle blows, and several seconds later takes a direct helmet-leading shot from a safety “who didn’t hear the whistle” is injury prone?”
I guess you people talking about “injury prone” are just blathering and have neither a definition of the term nor any idea of what a rib injury feels like…

Tua landed in the worst spot of all these new Alabama NFL QBs. He got drafted into a team with no weapons and no offensive line. Almost all their roster development was on the defensive side of the ball prior to Tua arriving. If he were playing behind Mac Jones' OL I suspect that he'd be having a ton more success.
No denying that he's injury prone but on the play that knocked him out the result was essentially going to be which side of his ribs got bruised. The left tackle was beat just about as bad as the right tackle. He's not going to last long enough for their roster to come around on offense for his natural arm talent to be of any use.
honestly best thing for him is for Miami to decide to move and on he gets traded / put into a better situation - like Darnold

Yes, I have. It’s incredibly painful.
I could walk, though, and did.

I’ve broken ribs in a game and thought my lungs were closing. Very painful and hard to breathe. Calling him out for being carted off tells me you were never an athlete.

No doubt you were an athlete...just not a very smart one. With an injury of that nature, instead of having your starting QB walk off the field, even though there was a chance of a possible break puncturing a lung, you wouldn't opt for the safer way!....ok.

Bammers suddenly like to pretend that bruised ribs are some sort unbearable cross to carry.
Professional athletes play through broken ribs all the time. Whether or not you or I personally have dealt with bruised ribs is 100% irrelevant.
Tua cannot handle pain on top of being made of tissue paper. It is what it is.

So on top of being a tough guy, you're also a doctor, huh?
Do you really think that there's no difference in a fracture of a lower rib and a compound break?
Read and get educated.
"A broken rib is a common injury that occurs when one of the bones in your rib cage breaks or cracks. The most common cause is chest trauma, such as from a fall, motor vehicle accident or impact during contact sports.
Many broken ribs are merely cracked. While still painful, cracked ribs aren't as potentially dangerous as ribs that have been broken into separate pieces. A jagged edge of broken bone can damage major blood vessels or internal organs, such as the lung."

I split the cartilage between my ribs and I couldn’t move, just breathing was torture. Doc said it hurts as bad as a cracked rib.

I've only seen him on tv & it's hard to gauge a player's true build. How tall is he actually? Weight? How does he compare size-wise to the other mobile QB's in the league?
