Many think it is trashy to point out injury prone players and I guess it is a litte during the college years. But Tua is a NFL qb now and durability is a very real issue and it should be discussed.

You know OP... when Burrow got put out for the season last year, there were several non-LSU fans that happy about it.

Hopefully tua's injury isn't bad.

shite. You can't be serious??? Hope it's nothing bad.

ETA: looks like ribs. Those can be troublesome and take a while to heal and sometimes never really heal. It is what it is.

That was the third time he was sacked in the game. Miami has to improve their oline or they're going to continue to QBs injured.

This, the RT hardly blocked the DE at all and he pancaked Tua. He managed to walk to sidles and was then carted to locker room. Anyone with a rib fracture or significant bruised ribs can relate that it’s hard to even breathe at times, why wouldn’t you use the cart that’s sitting there?

Agreed but it's in poor taste to revel in anyone getting injured. I know you weren't trying to say that but a lot of people on the interwebs can't seem to help themselves.

The Dolphins purchased that cart for $30,000 and dammit they’re going to use it!

....and here I was thinking it was just a dramatic ploy to boost ratings. You get my upvote.

I really don’t get how some people here dog this guy. I’ve never understood people dogging anyone NOT playing for an opposing school anymore either. Do you hate co-workers who went to another school? Or a relative. I don’t.

He is a Christian. A great humanitarian and person. Speaks well of others.

You pretty much have to be a piece of shite to hate him. Some people here are just that.

I think he needs more time. He's only played in 11 games in the NFL. His oline is atrocious just like Burrow's. Let's just pull for these young qbs. All of them seem to be having a rough day today including Burrow.

Bunch of internet dumb frick pretend tough guys passing judgement on Tua who've probably never had broken or bruised ribs. I've had both, and they both suck.

But yes, the Miami oline practically gives free runs at Tua. Anyone is liable to get injured with a oline like that. Those are big boys barrelling down on you as a QB, and hopefully someone gets a damn hand on them.

#Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa underwent further tests this morning on his bruised ribs and my understanding is those didn’t reveal any major issues. X-rays were negative. So it’ll be about pain tolerance and functionality moving forward. #Raiders await Sunday in Las Vegas.

You could have just thought for a moment and considered his brother at Maryland. Tulia has been getting the hell knocked out of him and bounces right back up.

In short, you're an idiot.

High draft picks going to crap teams with crap lines. Ruins a lot of good young talent. Jones was lucky as hell going to New England.

Then why did they cut Cam? I mean, if it's just being on the right team?

Tua landed in the worst spot of all these new Alabama NFL QBs. He got drafted into a team with no weapons and no offensive line. Almost all their roster development was on the defensive side of the ball prior to Tua arriving. If he were playing behind Mac Jones' OL I suspect that he'd be having a ton more success.

No denying that he's injury prone but on the play that knocked him out the result was essentially going to be which side of his ribs got bruised. The left tackle was beat just about as bad as the right tackle. He's not going to last long enough for their roster to come around on offense for his natural arm talent to be of any use.

So much of young QB success is landing in the right spot. Crazy that Miami had so many draft picks and didn’t build a better o-line.

I think they've been shoring up the interior OL but they have an injury prone passer and no high quality tackles. It is bizarre. Teams stay bad for a reason and it usually people in suits more than the players.

Having had the misfortune of bruised ribs twice,
you have to live with pain of every breath,
every cough, every movement and when you
elevate your movement, so does the pain with
increased breathing.
I suppose it varies with individuals but no
way around it.
